Hi there, I haven't updated this mod in a while. With 1.6 update looming, I'm preparing to make some significant changes to the mod. This will include:
Previous version would remain available in Files tab for those who want to finish their save.
2. Reworking shells spawn - Buffing the overall spawn rate - Making some Ginger Island exclusive - Making some only spawn around tide pool - Increasing spawn during Summer Bonus Foraging
3. Adding and reworking content - Renaming some items, adding a word to avoid duplicate (duplicate won't break things and perhaps inevitable, but we do what we can) - Adding new furniture (quite a number of them) - Adding more barter with this mod shells on Island Trader and Desert Trader, for base game items and for the added furniture - Reducing difficulty of Coral Fence special order - Adding new quest, special order, and related events - Adding compatibility with expansion mods (Stardew Valley Expanded's Fable Reef, Cape Stardew, and The Northern Gulf)

Hi Danicancan, I've been working on it for awhile... But, oh dear have I been distracted. Good thing is now during my delay there is way to keep the Json Assets items instead of having them turn to error item.
Fantastic little mod! I love how it adds function to the shells. The only thing I've noticed is the blue squid scarecrow shows up as free in the desert trader interface.
Hey, thank you for the kind words! I just checked to old mod files, and I think I know what's the cause. It should no longer be the case for 1.6 version of this mod. It should go live soon after 1.6 (which said to roll on March 19).

Hi sorry for such late reply. It's mostly because I wasn't active modding Stardew Valley, translations are nice... This mod permission allows for translation even without permission and you're free to post one.

I really like the look of this mod, but a part of me wants to move the forage so that outside of crab-pots, it mostly or entirely spawns on Ginger Island instead of the mainland. Is this something you're okay with a player doing to your mod? Does it have the same issue as where it's set to spawn on Mermaid Island and east Scarp (ie, No quality boost)?
Heya, LookUp anything says that for the Scallop Fish pond for 9 fish, it might need 30 Sturgeon (or 5 bat wing or 3 grape). I wonder (hope) that's a typo, where can I fix it?
Yep defo a mistake on my part. It's fixed in 1.2.2. Thank you for reporting. There are 3 files for fish pond data in Mods\ShellCollection\[CP] Shell Collection\assets. If you want to play around the identifier is "item_scallop" and you can change the entry in "PopulationGates"
New feature of latest Smapi/Content Patcher is designed to highlight when files are missing. Unfortunately it doesnt account for ones that dont exist until asave is loaded. It's harmless.
Hi there, the entry itself for content patcher animation should be fine. It seems scale up is getting confused? From checking the mod page of Scale up, it seems the feature mostly alr incorporated in pytk so u might want to look into that. That mod is rather dated.

1. Dropping Json Assets, Mail Framework Mod, and Shop Tile Framework as dependency. Porting to Content Patcher This mean:
- Previous mod folder must be deleted
- Modded items in existing save would become error item that can be safely disposed to the trash can.
- Progress would be lost in existing save
