May I ask why these ponds disappear during rainy days and winter?

I think I had 3 recolour/retexture mods in that photo:
      DaisyNiko's Earthy recolour: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5255
      Seasonal Japanese buildings: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/3947
Foliage Redone Foliage only (for the trees): https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4966

I was also using More Grass (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5398) for the growable grass and had a big mix of grass mods, but I think Alternative Textures (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/9246) is also popular now.

Hi, I've placed some waterways down but they don't seem to be doing anything. I also slept to see if it worked the next day.

I'm playing on Grandpa's Farm from SVE if that means anything.

      Hi,
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work for me with Grandpa's Farm from SVE. I don't really know why at the moment! Some people in the comments below seem to have gotten it to work, but idk how lol!
      Sorry about that!

      hello,
Can you convert this mod from TMXL to Extra Map Layers (smapi?) ?
I like this mod, but I don't want to use TMXL because it has too many bugs

Hello, I did not know there was an Extra Layers Mod! Thank you! I will take a look into that when I can :)

Hello. When I remove the textures in this mod, it leaves squares of water textures behind? How do i get rid of these?

I think I know what you mean. When I tested it, I think the water went away the following day, or after reloading the game. It is because the game adds the water texture after it sees water tiles, so it might need to refresh the map to change back to dry land. Does this work?

I have added some to my SDV Expanded farm and they have persisted throughout my saves. I have this mod and also the More Glass Buildables TMX mod, have added some of those buildings onto my farm as well. They all seem to function, the only odd behavior I've seen so far is once I slept and saved the game all my TMX built edits vanished, I closed the game and reloaded and they all appeared as normal again. I recommend being sure of where you want to place the TMX stuff before confirming as even when you remove a piece the ground can still act as though there is water

How do i remove the tiles? I messed up when I was putting together a rice paddy but they don't appear under the remove tab of the tmx interface.

They should be in the remove tab, but if not I suggest putting another patch on top (the same one again) and then removing it, maybe that will work?
Also, check that you haven't filtered the tab - select 'all' in categories on the left

Would this be considered a body of water that would allow the duck to swim in? If not, is there a way to make the small pond bigger to allow ducks to swim? I have a custom farm map that does not have a good pond in it (IF2).

I have been experimenting with this, and the answer is: I don't know. The duck swimming seems to be a pretty rare thing, and I also can't find any info anywhere about how big a body of water needs to be to make it work!

I could definitely look into making a big pond buildable if it's possible to find out exactly how big it would need to be. As far as I'm aware, this mod doesn't work with IFR2 because of all the TMXL patches it has already!
It might be best to ask the IFR2 people to add an optional pond patch to work with the 1.5 duck update if the current water on that farm isn't watery enough for ducks!

I just wanna say I'd LOVE to have a bigger pond size just for this purpose. Thanks for your mod!

Thank you for the response. I actually tried out the Grandpa's Farm map from SVE and although it is not as large it addresses this issue I had. You are correct in that the duck does rarely swim, at least in my observations with the new map.

Yeah I have actually started making an additional version with a pond which *should* be big enough for ducks! Someone on Discord had a photo and that helped me to figure out sizing!

this mod is something that i've been dreaming about ever since the rice shoots were added to the game ? i've been having to edit farm maps to expand the farming area around the ponds + even then it's only given me like 3 tiles of crops per edge which isn't anywhere near enough for me!! thank you so much for releasing it, i haven't even played with it yet but i know that it's absolutely perfect.
