Maru's original sprite reminded me of Chucky so much that I had to do something about it. And it led to completely remaking her. I really wanted to try and give her beautiful curly hair and it was a challenge, but I'm quite happy with the result.

30.08.23 update:
Sheesh, MAru took A LOT of work, guys, since she has an overall of 3 portrait and 3 sprites files. I think I did good with the update. Her portraits are now smoother, I fixed her hospital outfit a bit and included beach portrait and sprites. (In the latest version 2.0.1 I just fixed a few minor things that bothered me personally, nothing much)
Here's a comparison of the older version and a new one:
