    Hey you've done an impressive work adding new NPCs with dialogs and events, I understand it's a hard thing to do, so I hope it gets the recognition it deserves!

      Thank you! I have a new appreciation for people who make custom NPCs... it's so much harder than I thought it would be! But I had a lot of fun making these 2, and I'm looking forward to doing the rest. But I need to give myself a break from NPCs for a while first, haha.

      It has been great being able to interact with both Hekate and Hephasteus!!!! I also love giving them gifts jejjejejeje

    Regarding Recent & Wonderful Updates: I'm curious now, have you ever considered changing the sprite for the scene where witch gifts us with a void egg?

      Also, I left this on the article they were introduced in, but I'm not sure how notifications for those work so I'm leaving it here: Can Hephaestus & Hekate go to the theater & if so do they have movie/snack preferences?

      Eventually, I'm going to design Hekate's alternate outfit for winter/fall featuring a long dress coat. I haven't gotten to it yet. Maybe I'll tweak the witch sprites too, I'm not sure yet.

      I haven't added theater details for H & H yet. I'll add it to my future update list. I don't think that would be too hard, but first I'll need to figure out how to do it.

      Also, I hadn't realized before that there are separate comments on the articles, so yes, it would be better to leave it here. I try to check the posts once a day.

    NPCs folder in GardenVillage mod is the same.

    When you move to Mods folder
    I modified the Garden Village NPCs folder because it was recognized as the same folder.

      Ohhhh, I understand now. I'm lazy and I just leave all the mods in their root folder. Except for SVE where they force you to move them.

      I'll change the NPC folder names so that's not an issue.

      Bus Locations and Custom NPC Fixes are both required for Garden Village. There is an unofficial update for Bus Locations. I have a link to it on my mod description page.

    Where can I get Ghost Berry?
    I couldn't find Ghost Berry.
    The following error occurs

    [Producer Framework Mod] No Output found for 'Ghost Berry Wine', producer 'Keg' and input 'Ghost Berry'. This rule will be ignored.

      I'm not sure why that error shows up. I think it might be because putting a "Ghost Berry" into a keg produces "Ghostly Wine" instead of the expected name "Ghost Berry Wine." This error doesn't seem to hurt the game play at all.

      Ghost berries grow from a seed that is purchased in the Ghost Town (Walk to the Desert) after dark. :)

      Ghost Berry Wine is mentioned in the PFM folder in Garden Village in the ProducerRules file. If you just change that reference to Ghostly Wine, it shouldn't throw that SMAPI error anymore. At any rate, yeah, it definitely doesn't affect gameplay (after 10+ hours here anyway :-) ).

      Oh, did I accidentally put something in the GV side? This is the danger of trying to work on 2 interconnected mods at the same time. :|
      It's supposed to only be on the WTD side -- I'll remove that.

      Since it's not a game-breaking error, I'll wait to push this update until I have another bug fix or more content to add.

    after updating this mod I saw there are two new NPCs.... can anyone tell me their location??

      Garden Village of course. Hetake works at Artisanry and Heph at the Shed next to her shop.

    There was Ghostberry in WalkToDesert mod.
    I found it.

    NPCs folder in WalkToDesert mod.
    The NPCs folder name in GardenVillage mod is the same.

    People will be confused.
    I think we need to change the folder name.

      I'm not sure I understand the problem. Yes, each mod has a folder named NPCs, but why do they need to be different? They have different manifest files, so they will show up differently in the smapi log.

    Hi! Today the mod worked fine, but since the last update (7 July 2020) my game doesn't start anymore, it just stays in the "loading" interface. When I asked in a server about this someone said to me that it happened to him too because of this mod apparently :(

      Apparently Garden Village currently doesn't work without Walk to the Desert. I'll try to fix that today. Sorry for the trouble.

    Is it possible to even use this mod without the buslocations mod? It doesn't allow me to travel at all and hasn't been updated since last year.

    Edit: NVM both mods just don't support xbox controllers lol otherwise it does work!

      Actually, you should use square instead of X (I use a PS3 controller, I forgot the equivalent x box buttons, but use the button on the left instead of the bottom one when selecting the menu options) Also, to open shop menus, use the joystick to hover the cursor over the tile, you should see the cursor change and be able to select with the usual interaction button.

      I did use X but perhaps you meant B? Anyways I just use the mouse for those interactions but thx <3

      I had to look up an image to check. I mean what is X on an xbox controller should work. Yea, if neither that or the joystick work, using the mouse is the other solution. Just though I'd share because it does work for me, and it might for others.
