Does this work on custom pets? Specifically pets that have been added to the game that aren't reskins. I have VC's Raven pet mod but it just loafs around in the house and I'm wondering if this mod can fix that.
Never mind I realized I hadn't put more than one pet bowl on my farm. I guess the game just didn't care to put the raven out for two whole seasons for some reason.

Something I would like to request/suggest would be pet sleep location. Currently its mostly just the cat that sleeps on my bed, but with me also having a dog they sometimes stack making it physically impossible to pass through em. I have to climb over my spouse to get to sleep.
Edit: I don't know how I missed literally 2 posts below this how to get through the pets. I would still like to see if it's possible to add though if it's not too hard.
Hi :) thanks for the suggestion. My mod doesn't change anything about where the pets sleep or where they walk. The game controls it itself. I think a lot of things would get messed up, I would like to continue to let the game itself control it. And we always have a surprise where the pets are sleeping today :)
Thanks so much for this mod! It's a lifesaver! I sometimes get a bug where my pet can't move away from the pet bowl area and thanks to your mod I can let it spawn elsewhere so it doesn't have to stay at its pet bowl forever!
I did notice something (small) tho. When I use your mod, and my cat lays on my bed and I want to go to bed, instead of the character just going under the cat and going to bed, it's like a colission and I have to continue to press against it untill I phase through the cat. That only happens when your mod is active.
It's just a small thing but I thought I let you know regardless!
This mod is causing lag in my game. I isolated it to make sure. My dog is spawning next to the pet bowl as I didn't use any commands yet, and I don't have multiple pets yet. Simply adding the mod to the game caused lag. Does not appear to be due to conflicting spawn points or anything.
Hello :) The mod only spawns the pets once a day (after getting up), I don't know why it should lag. The only thing new is "Helper.ConsoleCommands.Add" for the console commands. I don't know what it could be.
Hi, thanks for replying! Is there ANY possible way there is some kind of loop in the code? Or a way to do it any simpler? I have a quite good computer and internet connection, and much bigger mods, and removing them does not fix the lag, but removing this one does. I really want to be able to see my multiple cats and dogs instead of them just all stuck together ;;
Regarding the version, I will test different versions now and see if it's just the latest that lags, or all of them
Edit: Version 1.9 and earlier work fine. It's 2.0., 2.1, and 2.2 that lag me. Argh, but those add the feature I wanted! Any possible ideas? Edit2: Apparently Version 1.9 works with Cats and Dogs to prevent them from stacking. I guess you can't set your own coordinates, but it works fine anyway. If anyone else is getting lag just use Version 1.9.

Simply put it in the mods folder. All pets will be outside (dogs near the bowl and cats near the front door) and on rainy days all pets will be in the house.
OPTIONAL: if you want to change that, then walk to the place where a pet should be and write in the console: petspawnlocation petname
and if you want to change the spot when it rains: petspawnlocation petname rain
Great work with the mod <3 How do I have my cats stay inside during rain? I'm running your most recent version and it says this should work automatically - am I missing something?
Hello, thank you <3 Oh i forgot to set that. I have now updated it. Default settings now are that all pets are in the host's house (on rainy days). If you want to change it, just walk to the location and write petspawnlocation petname rain in the console and whenever it rains the pet will be there.

Can I send it to you somehow (example: via e-mail or similar)? Than you can add the translation file in your mod in a future update if you wish to.
