Hii thank you so much for this mod! Now I can have my IRL dog in my game <3 I updated it to work with 1.6 and uploaded it to Nexus! There are two versions, one requiring Content Patcher and the other requiring Alternative Textures, since they do slightly different things.
FYI, the Cursor sheet for the Classic Gunny is bad. The sprites have been raised by several pixels, making all the cursor sprites cut off at the tops, and sometimes having some of the lower cursors appear on the bottom. I managed to fix it on my own, but I thought you might want to know.
Hey, I've merged the original glitchless cursor.xnb file with the classic brown german shepherd skin. Heres the download link if you want: https://mega.nz/#F!ZKg2FCBJ!Lo5SZlCSd544vLDaV3eobg (also, I've added the PNG so you can check for yourself)
Hope it helps.
(oh s#*!, I just realised how old your comment is... anyway, hope it still helps someone out there.)
Uh Mods good, Cursors not so much. The Pixels get bumped up on everything and it just breaks. It needs fixing for the mod to work properly with the cursors. If you need help with anything i'd love to assist to make this mod work fully.
Hey, just to let you know, I had a look at your cursor sheet for the White German shepherd as I realised a few images were missing from my game and noticed that it's got a few blank spots (e.g. missing Parrot for Emily, drunk Shane, beer cans, iridium stars, and I think a few more). I might have a go at fixing it myself, but then again that might never happen as for now I've gone back to the vanilla cursor sheet and I may just forget Besides that, I really do love this mod, and thanks for uploading it!
Noob question...I've just got Stardew Valley and downloaded this mod. I understand about replacing the files, but I'm wondering about the cursor modding. Do I need new cursors to get the dog mod to work, or is the cursor part optional?
