Permissions and credits
Lets you eat almost any object, and regain health and energy proportional to the object's sell value. Finally you can eat Amethysts with Abigail!

Install

How to use (in Stardew Valley 1.5.6)
Any newly-spawned items will be edible.

Known limitations:
  • Items which were created before installing the mod aren't affected.
  • You'll no longer be able to place sprinklers, plant seeds, etc. You'll just eat everything instead.
  • Uninstalling the mod won't undo the changes for items created while it was installed.
You can optionally open the config.json file (which is generated when you run the game with the mod) in a text editor to change these settings:
  • YummyArtefacts: whether to mark artifacts edible. Your log might spam you with errors. Default false.

How to use (in Stardew Valley 1.6 alpha)
Hold LeftShift and use an item to eat it. This won't change the item itself, so you can still use it normally (e.g. placing sprinklers) when not holding the button.

You can optionally open the config.json file (which is generated when you run the game with the mod) in a text editor to change these settings:
  • YummyArtefacts: whether to mark artifacts edible. If false, artifacts won't be edible even while holding the button. Default false.
  • HoldToActivate: the key binding you need to hold to make items edible. Default LeftShift.
