Since permissions are open on this mod, I'm working on a conversion to CP for 1.6. (I'm just getting started, so if anyone is already working on this, let me know!)
Just wanted to update people: This mod does seem to work with the unofficial BFAV update for 1.5 (which you can find a link to in the posts on the BFAV Nexus page). I haven't tested if all the products work correctly, but the horses do show up in Marnie's shop, they can be purchased, and the horses don't turn into cows overnight.
However, in order to get PFM to work with this mod you do need to change the names of two of the files in the [PFM] So Many Horses folder. The files should have a capital P in "producer(s)." The files should be "ProducerRules.json" and "ProducersConfig.json". Without doing this edit PFM will ignore the files entirely.
Also, be warned that, as with many BFAV mods, installing this mod does mix up the JA ids, meaning you'll probably lose some PPJA items you already have in your inventory unless you rename your mods to order how they load.
if i recall correctly, the movements of farm animals are different from those of rideable horses in game, so the sprites are not compatible. additionally, i have a pack of a&s skins available here: [So Many Horses for A&S] that are actually a bit more expansive than these horses and include bareback, brown saddle, and black saddle versions.

These sprites are absolutely adorable.. Is there any way that they could be used for normal Horses? Would it cause any glitches in the animation or cause crashes? I don't use BFAV ( And I'm not sure if I'd be able to, given I use Automate ), I'd really just like to use them for normal riding Horses
Thank you! It's been a few months since I've looked at SDV mods, so please excuse me if I'm wrong, but I think your best bet is going to be using Adopt'n'Skin + my version of these horses for that. I'm fairly certain BFAV and Automate would work fine together (at least, it did last time I played), but if you want to actually have these sprites on your normal horses, BFAV won't do that. You also have my permission to use either the sprites from this mod or from my Adopt'n'Skin version (they are slightly different) for a Content Patcher mod to replace the sprites for your horses, so long as it's not published online and you don't claim ownership of my sprites. I will say that I did the A'n'S version after this one, and there are not only more colors, but two saddle variations plus a bareback variation of each color horse.
