I've been wanting to do a major rework of this mod for a long time now. To make the players children actually look like they belong to the parents using some DNA splicing (With a Punnett Chart). I've been pretty swamped though so I'm not sure when I'll be able to update this
Hey, I love the idea of this mod! If you want any help updating the mod to be compatible with 1.6, let me know. I'd really love to use this in my current playthrough with my partner!
I've been wanting to rework this mod for a long time now, but haven't had the time. I really want to do some more indepth DNA splicing (With a Punnett chart) to make the players children actually look like them. It'd really do a lot to have a child NPC of two player characters. They might even have your eyes /s
I've been too swamped, so I'm not sure when this will get updated

что делать, если мод выдаёт эту строку? это потому что его имя написано на русском? но даже если я введу имя ребёнка на английском, мод всё равно не работает. [Not Far From The Tree] Не удалось определить местоположение <Childe> по имени "Майло"
What should I do if the mod gives this line? Is it because his name is in Russian? but even if I enter the child's name in English, the mod still doesn't work. [Not Far From The Tree] Failed to locate <Childe> named "Майло"
so because I'm an idiot who doesn't understand how time works, I mistakenly thought you updated this recently (I mean it's still totally 2021 right? sigh...)
can confirm it doesn't work with 1,5,6. thankfully it doesn't cause crashes or anything; the only reason I even noticed it wasn't working was because I caught a glimpse of red in the console before SMAPI closed and went to check it out. after 12+ hours in one session a crash would have been pretty devastating so I'm relieved for that at least
anyway, I figured that before I remove it I should offer my log. no pressure for an update, of course! it just seems logical to me that having a log for a starting point would make it easier on you in the long run
Hello, I just downloaded the mod, and it won't work, and I already read that it needs an update, is it because the character spites need to be .xnb and not .png ? or is it because of a different reason? I play with 2 friends on a multiplayer world and it would be nice if our kids don't look the same xD
Hi, I play in my friend's co-op farm and this works well for her but not for me. My child (Penny's) and my friend's child (Sam's) take the default appearance, but while I'm visiting her house and she comes in, her baby changes its appearance to the modded version. How can I fix this?

Love your work on this mod, I have used previously and enjoyed it! Are you going to be updating for 1.6? :)
