    when using crop transplant mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2594), the garden kills the bugs if you pick up and place down the crop again. would you consider that balanced assuming you get the garden pot after greenhouse completion?

    also, when using ancient crops mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/4472), the ancient coffee beans go into the seed maker and make infinite beans.

      The crop transplant thing doesn't seem to be a big issue since you get it only later in the game. I could make the mods more compatible. Maybe the spot the plant was standing in keeps being infested for the rest of the day if this isn't already the case.

      The ancient coffee bean issue seems to be unrelated to this mod. Is the issue that you could "level up" the traits for those beans? The bean should not be able to be processed by the seed maker. That sounds like a bug in the ancient crops mod.

    Hi, could you add in support to customize the appearance of the compost bin?
    AndrAla's Flowery Bin and Gwen's Medieval Buildings mods have a variety of appearance options for shipping bins and I think it would be cool if we could use one of them to give the compost bin a unique look.

    Also, does this mod work on custom maps?

      The customized look is not that easy since the compost bin is just a shipping bin without the lid and different behaviour. I probably could change the look by loading another texture but this might not be easy.
      I don't see why it shouldn't work on custom maps.

    Played with this mod in my hardish playthrough -- "Ooo look at all the pretty blue butterflies hanging around my crops, they're so pretty (I have a mod to change how these look)" --- discovered these were actually crop flies and they infested my entire spring yield! DIE DIE DIE ALL YOU BUGS!

    10/10 would do again.

      That made me laugh. I'm not good at visual design so I had to use an in-game resource.

    FYI, when removing mods to do some testing, I disabled Spacecore (which disables Json Assets in turn). CPC was *not* happy about the JA crops being missing, you may want to find a way to handle data for removed items. https://smapi.io/log/ubNZg2fz

    I also got an error but didn't manage to grab the log for it, I believe when I maxed out the levels for a perk/all perks. I will try to get a log with this one.

      Thank you. I'm not sure if that is a bug. The mod gets an id for the seeds and ask the game code for the information about that seed id. JA is missing so the id is unknown. I could catch that and print a warning instead but if JA is missing, all the JA items should be removed.

      Does it affect the game play?

      Okay, I just realized that there are hundreds of error messages. I still don't consider this as a bug but also don't want to have error spam so I will do something about this.
      I'm interested in the other error.

      Yeah, it's not truly an issue with your mod per say, just how it handles missing data for items. The JA items cease to exist if their packs or JA itself is removed, but if a mod has saved data for those items, it will still try to look for them. It definitely was causing some slowdown, though it did stop when I changed the time via CJB. I'll definitely try to get the other one, but I won't have time to play again for a while.

      Your save has still JA items because your log shows that Automate pulled an item from a seed maker and put it somewhere (a chest?). That triggered my mod and it couldn't handle it.

    Ok, this may be a dumb question. Since coffee beans are already the seeds and won't go through the seed processor, is there any way to get coffee beans with upgraded traits? Or is the only "safe" place to grow coffee in the greenhouse?

      That is not a dumb question because I did not think about that. I will think about a way to solve this. So this is actually a bug.

      Also wondering this, I have a ton of coffee growing so most of it survives but I wish there were a way to work it with this mod.

    Any chance for an explanation of the config options? Some of them are pretty easy to tell, but others I'm struggling to understand.

    Alright, so the only way Seeds can have Traits is to put Produce (that can produce seeds) into a Seed Maker?

    And does it work with Modded Seed Makers?

    And that one Seed Maker mod that the higher the quality Produce you put in the (vanilla) Seed Maker, the more seeds it produces?

      First question: Yes.
      Second: That depends on the mod. My mod checks if the object is called "Seed Maker" (internal name).
      Last question: I'm not sure if I understand your question. But SMCQ and "More Quality More Seeds" give you more seeds from the seed maker for items of higher quality.

      Will what work? I used smcq before the 1.4 update came out and I now use the unofficial update for Better Quality More Seeds [1] because both mods are incompatible with stardew 1.4. They are compatible with this mod if that is your question.

    How do you see what traits a seed has?

      Hold seeds in hand. Right-click (as you would if you'd try to put them inside) on a seed maker or compost bin. That is also in the description
