Due to the current situation, a lot of sundrop's team has had to go on hiatus, the mod is still being worked on, I can personally promise that, but we unfortunately will not be able to uphold the planned 2-month release schedule as a result.
My apologies for this unexpected interruption.
(PS: If anyone has any skills in Pixelart or Mapping, do please consider joining the team, we have a massive amount of assignments sitting around waiting for someone willing & able to do it!)
Regarding the "missing bus stop" issue in version Alpha 0.3.0: This is not a bug. The bus stop map does not exist, and is simply a placeholder entry to be replaced later. Due to compatibility issues with SVE, we've removed the warp to the right of Pelican Town in favor of requiring a warp via console for now. We'll have a natural entry method in a later version, but for now, just know that this is not a bug and won't impact your game or ability to enjoy our content.
Trust us, we're sad about it too. What happened was a combination of several different updates from the game changing things in a relatively short period of time that made massive reworks and rewrites to the core of the mod necessary, and then also the fact that Sundrop was a labor of love and volunteer-based project, making it difficult for us to retain long-term help outside of the core admin team. We had *massive* turnover rates on people coming to help and then just disappearing. Plus with the admin team having to take their own breaks for real life things, it was just a huge struggle, being short handed constantly. We made the decision to put this mod on a shelf indefinitely, but we were very sad to do so. We would all love to bring it back to life someday, especially with all the changes in 1.6, but for now we just don't have the people we'd need to make it happen, and the few people who have stayed around can't do it alone.

Unfortunately, making sundrop work reliably with the massive changes in 1.6 is a big task, and requires a group effort. Sadly we do not have the manpower right now to pull it off.
We are seeking manpower to join, but few people with the required skills show interest which is making this a difficult task.
It's sad to see that a mod with such high potential is unable to be continued due to issues with staffing. Was wondering if there were any future plans of future support for this mod (since 1.6 is HOPEFULLY just around the corner), and if another scripter (myself :P) could be useful to the team!
Once 1.6 drops a lot of changes are going to happen which makes Sundrop far easier to develop. Hopefully we will get a renewed impulse once it does to get the team back up and running.
If we can get the team back together yes, to be honest, the 1.6 update is taking far longer then expected to drop, which is making things even harder on us.
Hello, due to your team's reasons, currently unable to continue updating Sundrop City. Someone around me will fix and upgrade the compatibility of the current version. If possible, can I make my own modifications and play? Of course, I won't publish.
The reason it hasn't updated in so long is because crucial infrastructure for the mod is no longer available in the newest versions of SMAPI. A workaround was being planned, but given the insane complexity of our mod's codebase, that's not exactly a walk in the park. That said, even if it were possible to update the mod, we can't reasonably give our blessing for a private fork of it. There's simply too many people involved who have given us assets for us to give permission for anyone else to touch it.
Yes, that tends to happen when you download a mod that hasn't been updated in almost two years. Especially something as code-heavy as this. Always check the upload dates, folks!
I look around and notice you have no translations, I know only English but I can look up translations. It would be an honor to work on translations because it would be my first time. I use mobile so I would most likely need the dialogue sent to me and then I could send it back translated later!
We currently do not have any translations because none of the dialogue, text or even texture art is final. Once we have everything in a finalized state, then we will start work on translations.
Unfortunately, it will likely be quite a while before we get to that point, due to the current lack of manpower we are dealing with.
There is no fixed date on translations, it depends on when we feel that most of the text has been finalized, and thus translating it will not be a waste of effort on the translators part (We do not wish to waste time and effort spend by people if we end up not using the text after all.)

We can not provide support without such a log!

Sadly, this is currently unlikely.
