As of today, with SMAPI 3.17.2 and CP 1.28.2, this mod works 95%. The two plants and the dog bowl in the corner are still there, but they're tolerable.

What wasn't tolerable for me what finding out that moving the greenhouse leaves a copy of its shadow and entrance tiles behind, and that after moving it you can't move it back because of said 2x3 entrance tiles :'). I got mixed results depending on which mods I loaded (all VS. the bare minimum to open the save) on whether I could plant trees on those tiles, which was my purpose for moving the greenhouse.

I tried to edit the map using Tiled, but because of my lacking knowledge and/or because it's a .tbin file, I wasn't able to make it work. Regardless, you can cover up those tiles and the shadow with paths even with the mod installed and, if you want to place/plant something else in those six tiles, it seems you can uninstall the mod for an in-game day, re-install, and it'll work out. Or just don't move the greenhouse lol.

That's what I'll be doing because I really, really like what this mod does to the corners of the farm and the obnoxious big pond. Thank you, mod creator, for this map <3

Hi! You're so welcome <3 I'm dipping my toe back into nexus, but not returning to the modding community just yet. Just wanted to drop a note here and say thank you to you and everyone who took my mods and kept them alive through updates! <3 You guys are awesome.

      Best,
      <3 Frost

EDIT: Removed the file from my Google Drive. You can now find it here:
    https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5886/

I also included a version with some minor tweaks that I personally found more pleasing to look at.

    Hi all.

Over on the Stardew Valley Forum there was a request for a fix for this to fix the weird shadows on the ponds and the plants coming through the roof of the house. I have fixed this and you can find it here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FjQErpBS60TsaLVc9YqfsX30dLxQ1Yr6?usp=drive_open
I've only done the main file, not the removed ponds one.

Thank you for this! I was on a long hiatus from modding.

    Hi,

Do you know how to get rid of these plants that are layered weirdly?

These aren't the only ones but they are the most egregious.

    Thank you.

I identified another problem: the water bowl for pets is stuck in the top-left corner of the map. The old imgur album was too old for me to change so I added it here with the other two issues:

Are you using SVE? Just curious as it might the reason for the pet bowl problem.

So, the mod was updated, which is great, but there are still plants layered improperly. Here they are:

Is this ever going to get an update of some sort?  I almost only ever come back to SV because this map is available, the standard farm layout just bothers me.

    Aw.

I'm looking for a farm mod that moves the trees at the bottom out of the way, and this was the closest one so far.

I guess I will have to figure out how to do it myself.

I wonder if it's possible to do using an existing one as a base...

Heyo, just identified two small bugged plants on your nice map (they appear to be layered improperly) you might wanna look at when you have the time. Pics here: https://imgur.com/a/MOdwOJ7

Yeah, these maps are literally perfect, except for those stupid bugged plants. I'm so sad.

Also the fact that your poor pet and pet dish gets confined to the top-left corner. But I don't mind that one since my pet is already at max hearts anyway, and they come in properly at night so I can snuggle them :)

Ah, this looks like exactly what I've been looking for! I love playing on the standard map because of the large amount of space but the pond in the middle as well as the weird entrance to the farm bothered me a lot. However I have a savegame on the standard farm already, where I am in winter of year two. I would like to keep playing with that character but switch the old farm layout to this one. What would be the best way of going about that? Would it be smart to remove any and all debris, trees, grass and so on from the map and move the barns out of the way or is that wasted time and I should just switch it out without preparing? Also, does the pet bowl not being refillable mean it counts as always full or does it just not change visuals? Sorry for the questions, I'm fairly new to modding and a bit anxious but my perfectionism is driving me crazy on the regular standard layout!

Hi there! The only thing you'll have to worry about is debris - move all that, or else you won't be able to access it afterwards without bombing. Nobody wants a random tree growing in their pond haha! As for buildings, you can move them before or after with no problems, I think. You shouldn't have to do too much moving unless you had things right next to the old pond.

As for the pet bowl, I'm fairly sure it just changes visuals. Filling it doesn't actually do anything for affection with your animal, as far as I know.

There is an optional file with the pond at the top of the farm, if that would work better for you! Then you wouldn't have to move anything. Check it out! :)

Thank you so much for your response! I prefer the two ponds as the small pond looks good as part of an animal enclosure and as long as the debris is all I have to worry about that's great because I can definitely go through and just remove it. I wasn't sure whether the pet bowl did anything or not but I really like that it has food as well. Thank you so much for helping me out, I was a little worried because my savegame is already well established but now I'm happy that I get to play on this awesome map nonetheless :)

I'm pretty sure the pet bowl gives friendship points each night you go to sleep, own a pet (obviously) and it's filled with water. Maybe it will count as full each night then? Less stuff to worry about...

Using a UI mod, you can see that the dish does not count as full and your pet does not receive the bonus.
