It's not necessary, Jojamart is already cheaper than the General Store in SVE, and it sells all seasons' stock year round, like a real supermarket would.
According to the Wiki there's only 2 items that are exclusively sold by Pierre: Vinegar and Blueberry Seeds. The wiki is TOTALLY wrong about that, though (as usual). I have now edited the wiki to include the full, MASSIVE list of things that are missing from JojaMart.
There are LOTS of items missing from JojaMart compared to Pierre's. Here's a full list that shows the missing items. (This raw data is more accurate/informative than even my edited wiki entry.)
I definitely wish that this mod had an option to add the missing items to Joja. Screw Pierre. I would be okay with having to visit Pierre's to buy fruit tree saplings, since it makes no sense for Joja to sell those. But Joja should sell everything else.
PS: An alternative to this mod is to use Stardew Valley Expanded. It makes the entire Joja storyline very friendly, and makes all prices cheaper than Pierre's, and I've heard that it makes ALL seeds sold the entire year at JojaMart, just like a real supermarket. That mod (SVE) is incompatible with and supersedes both "Lore-friendly JojaMart Prices" + Joja Immersion (dialogue extension). It would be the best solution for those who want SVE. I personally don't like SVE, since it changes the game too much, so I opted to use the this mod + Joja Immersion instead.

jojamart's seed give 90% common 10% silver regardless of the farming level (or at farming 10 That could give pierre's seed more quality that explain the price (and why not give a bonus to his seed to have better quality result.
I don't think there's anyway for the game to differentiate between the two. You could possibly create Joja seeds as new objects and just set them to be lower value though? Could be fun. Could make them blue.
i also thought it was annoying and pointless that jojamart is not only *not* cheaper than pierre's, but more expensive. it's not even a choice, you'd have to be an idiot to buy a membership in the vanilla game.
