Hey hey, I love the idea of this mod! Unfortunately I haven't been able to get it to work, the animals appear in Marnie's ranch instead. I haven't unlocked the wizard's book yet, could that be the cause? Additionally, my sampi log is a bit weird, it states that "Can't apply data patch "Fae Gate" > Include assets/configfalse.json . Add Rabites Compat." to Data/FarmAnimals: there's no record matching key 'Yellow Rabite' under Fields." There's basically one of these sentences for each animal I have. I can provide the sampi log if needed, sorry to bother you!

okay i think i might know the problem, i need to double check but my guess is that an update to the rabite and sunberry mods changed the ID for the animals included in those mods, so my mod cant find and add them as compats, i will update this eventually but i just got a new computer and I'm still in the process of transferring over all my data from the old one so i don't have SDV set up and i cant properly test anything atm. Not sure what other mods are broken for this atm but most other animals SHOULD work fine, assuming they didnt alter the IDs their barn animals
it should be relatively easy to fix once im able to though, ill see about getting SDV set up some time today and update compatibility for mods with these updated animal IDs
i also high key would like to encourage modders to include compatibility for this mod themselves, that way if i cant get around to updating the mod right away (like right now lmao) it will still remain relevant
yeah i did some code overhauls on my stuff so the IDs all changed. i added more mobile sprouts to that mod as well. unfortunately that means one of us would need to redo the configs for that. i could maybe do it and submit it to you, that would end up with you needing to update though anyway,
maybe i can just add fae gate as an optional house in my mods? or as a separate download....not really sure what the path of least resistance is here. open to your suggestion.
i believe you had it set to use my rabites, sprouts, and mushrooms? i redid the IDs on all of those in updates. so yeah my fault i suppose.
did not actually test this ingame yet but this clears the smapi errors and validates fine so it should be good, theoretically. lemme know if anyone gets it going correctly. feel free to incorporate the changes into your mod! please note i did remove the comment line at the top as the validator site was not playing nice with it.
Hello! I just wanted to let you know that Enchanted Chickens has received and update and now has a new internal ID (InaylaLinyah.MagicalMenagerie) and the chickens are now rolled into one animal with 12 different skins, as opposed to varieties and now exists beneath the internal ID of (InaylaLinyah.MeagicalMenagerie_EnchantedChicken) with just a display name of "Enchanted Chicken"!
oooooh noted! ill update the compatibility list next time i get around to updating this mod again, i've been going through a rough patch recently so i haven't had the time or energy for any updates OTL
im... not sure, i didnt test it with that mod in mind, but i dont see why it wouldnt be unless the creator needs to add compatibility on their side? not sure how it works but i can look into it at some point
so this may seem somewhat silly but i am having trouble finding where i am supposed to build the arch from, do i craft it, does robin, or does the wizard?
Hi, I love this mod so much since I have so many magical creatures. I just would like to ask about the size of this building. Is it the same size as a barn, 7x4? Or more like a coop size? Thanks! 😊
i was waiting to add a compat for that mod because the author had sent me a message about compatibility with this mod and i thought they would add it themselves but it doesn't seem they have yet... i may add it in the next update
