Giant Surprise Crops
Meet the 3 new crops: the Giant Surprise Melon, the Giant Surprise Pumpkin and the Giant Surprise Fridge.
You can get its seeds in Pierre's store and you can plant it in any season except winter. Each crop takes 9 days to mature and each day has a 50% chance of becoming giant.
Crops:
When one of these crops becomes giant, breaking it will give you a random item. The amount and type of item is randomly decided by the game and can generate profits or losses with respect to the price of the seeds needed to make a giant crop. The giant crops are quite resistant, you will need several hits to break them.
- Giant Surprise Melon: Harvesting this single crop will only generate one packet of melon seeds. When it becomes giant, destroying it will give you a random amount of any fruit in the game.
- Giant Surprise Pumpkin: Harvesting this single crop will only generate a packet of pumpkin seeds. When it becomes giant, destroying it will give you a random amount of any vegetable in the game.
- Giant Surprise Fridge: Harvesting this simple crop will only generate a few iron ores. When it becomes giant, destroying it will give you a random amount of any food in the game.
The price of each seed packet was calculated by obtaining the average of the selling prices of each object involved. The profit or loss depends on the price of the 9 packets of seeds needed and on the quantity and type of objects you obtain from the giant crops.
You can receive from 10 to 30 objects, from which you can get more profit by processing them in their respective machines, especially if you make a loss between the object obtained and the price of the crops.
Despite all this, the mod is made with a certain idea of being balanced, it should not break the game and should not be considered cheating. Besides that it depends a lot on the RNG of the game, so you could be very lucky and get a lot of benefit or on the contrary, lose.
