Do you love tea? Are you interested in making more types of tea than just green tea? Then you might enjoy this mod! I'm a big fan of tea, so I decided to make a mod that expands the mechanics of tea in the game. This mod adds a new machine for processing tea leaves as well as a number of tea recipes to make new, delicious types of tea!


What's Included

  ♡  A new machine, the Oxidizer, which is used to oxidize tea leaves into various loose leaf teas.
  ♡  These four new loose leaf teas can be used as ingredients for the new tea recipes.
  ♡  There are three sprite options for the Oxidizer.
  ♡  Between 13 and 28 new cooking recipes for different types of tea, with support for several custom crop mods if they're installed.
  ♡  13 tea recipes use only vanilla ingredients, including a new recipe allowing Green Tea to be cooked in the kitchen.
  ♡  A further 15 tea recipes are added based on whether Cornucopia - More Crops, Cornucopia - More Flowers, Wildflour's Atelier Goods - Forager, and Quaint Living - Flower Garden 2 are installed.
  ♡  Different tea recipes can be bought from the Saloon, Pierre's Seed Shop, Marnie's Animal Shop, Sandy's Desert Oasis Shop, and the Resort Bar on Ginger Island.
  ♡  The new tea items can be optionally removed from the shipping requirements for perfection.
  ♡  Added gift tastes for vanilla NPCs and Ridgeside Village NPCs (if installed).
  ♡  Tea recipes are profitable to make! They also provide scaling speed buffs based on how much they've been processed!


The Oxidizer

Once you have learned how to craft tea bushes, Caroline will send you the recipe to craft the Oxidizer in the mail.

How the Oxidizer works:
  ♡  Base game Tea Leaves can be placed in the Oxidizer to create Loose Leaf Green Tea.
  ♡  Loose Leaf Green Tea can be placed in the Oxidizer to create Loose Leaf White Tea.
  ♡  Loose Leaf White Tea can be placed in the Oxidizer to create Loose Leaf Oolong Tea.
  ♡  Loose Leaf Oolong Tea can be placed in the Oxidizer to create Loose Leaf Black Tea.

Note: The Oxidizer will work with Automate, but left to its own devices it will continue processing tea leaves and loose leaf teas successively, meaning all of the tea leaves will eventually be processed into Loose Leaf Black Tea. There is nothing I can do about this behavior, it's just how Automate functions.

There are three sprite options for the Oxidizer: one which matches the vanilla machines, one which matches Gwen's Medieval Craftables, and one which matches Elegant Craftables. The sprite can be automatically chosen or manually specified in the config.

Config Options

This mod has a lot of configuration options, which can seem overwhelming. Most of them are able to be handled automatically, though, so please don't be intimidated! The easiest way to configure this mod is to use Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM) in-game! Options which have been bolded are the default options.

General Options
  ♡  Exclude From Perfection:
  ♡  Excludes items added by this mod from the shipping requirements for perfection.
  ♡  Options: "true" or "false"

  ♡  Oxidizer Sprite:
  ♡  Which sprite to use for the Oxidizer: one which matches the vanilla game, one which matches Gwen's Medieval Craftables, or one which matches Elegant Craftables. Choosing "Auto" will auto-select which sprite to use based on what you have installed.
  ♡  Options: "Auto", "Vanilla", "Medieval", or "Elegant"

  ♡  Use New Green Tea Sprite:
  ♡  Replace the base game's Green Tea sprite with one that matches this mod.

Crop Mod Compatibility Options
  ♡  These settings determine which mod's version of the specific ingredient to use if multiple crop mods are installed. Choosing "Auto" will auto-select which mod to use based on what you have installed; if multiple mods are installed, the first in the list will be chosen. Choosing "None" disables the related recipe regardless of whether the mods are installed. Note: If you manually select a mod you don't have installed, errors will result.

(I am investigating using SpaceCore in a future update to this mod to make it so that the recipes can take any of the related ingredients without having to pick and choose one specifically when multiple mods are installed, but I haven't gotten it working yet.)
