    Is this mod still maintained?
    Yep. The original author is no longer active, but I'm keeping it compatible with game/SMAPI updates and fixing critical issues. It's a "keeping the lights on" priority for other improvements though.


    Is this compatible with custom maps and NPCs?
    Yes, it's automatically compatible with any custom map or NPC mods which use the game assets added in Stardew Valley 1.6. For mod authors, see the author guide for help tweaking how your content is shown.


    How do I get help / report an issue?
    Post a comment below! Please upload your SMAPI log and add a link to your message (even if you don't see any errors). This has useful info like what versions you have, which mods are installed, what happened in the game, etc.

    Since I maintain many mods for other mod authors, I can't always answer every question here (often I'll be busy handling SMAPI or my own mods). If you can answer someone else's question, that's always appreciated!


    Common issues:

    • Duplicate villagers on the world map: UI Info Suite includes a similar feature, so it'll add duplicate NPCs. You can either remove one of the mods, or disable UI Info Suite's NPC markers in its options.

    My minimap is acting weird. Every time I move the minimap, the focus of the minimap image also moves

      I've been having this problem too! If it's in the default corner, it's fine and centered on me, but if I move it anywhere else, it is no longer centered. I really need to move it too, since it covers the cave level number

    Hello! I am using NPC Map Locations and SVE together. The NPCs are showing on the map but the map is the vanilla map. No SVE parts of it like the Vineyard. Could you help here?

    It's not working on Ginger Island, it doesn't show the NPCs there

    Hey! So I just have a tiny problem, I've been using this mod since forever and recently, it stopped working, I downloaded the update like a day after it came out, and uninstalled it completely and redownloaded it, to no luck. My problem is that the map doesn't show up in the corner and I looked for an option to enable it, and its not even in my gmcm list but it appears to be loaded in smapi.

    Did the debugmode option get removed from this? If so it's fine I can use other things/other method. I just liked the way this mod displayed the map size/co-ordinates at the top and the quick warping around everywhere.

    Hello, I'm having the same issues as other people where if I move the minimap, it changes the focus to somewhere else in the world and not my player. It would be great if this could be fixed because I also use the "To-Dew" mod which defaults to displaying in the top left also. Thank you

    i keep getting this error in my console, but it doesnt make since, because i thought it this mod was updated.

      also it seem you will need to toggle the trace option to see what i think are errors in relation to the NPC Map mod:

      i have also tried this with a clean install of stardew and only with SMAPI and this mod making sure to open and run the game between each installation, and it still resulted in the below error:

      Does that still happen if you temporarily remove all mods except NPC Map Locations?

    I don't know what's the problem with new version, there are no seasonal versions of the map(( Maybe i did something wrong

I have for farms with different seasons. and all of them have no seasonal version, and I also have some strange green stripes on my farm area (on the map). I thought that it was something for crops, but I have this even on farms where I don't have any crops.
