This mod inspired me to make sort of a junk food expansion mod, to help the early days among other things. Drink Water and Eat Frozen, new food and drinks are patched thanks to the guide too.
I think there’s some issue with custom food item, proper value doesn’t apply to foods and drinks even patches are installed. Might be problems only with Linux system
Thirst and hunger gained from meals from The Love of Cooking is calculated based on edibility instead of values from assets\Databases\Custom\blueberry\LoveofCooking_Edibles.json. Also unlike the vanilla meals the values of hunger and thirst from TLoC doesn't display when you hold it in hand
Is there a way to make the artisan Juices and Wines have thirst values? Is using the context tags "juice_item" and "alcohol_item" possible with the patch edibility files?
PLEASE FIX YOUR MOD!! The "Body Exhaustion" and "Absence of Food" debuffs DO NOT DISAPPEAR once they appear until the next day even if you improve your energy and hunger meters! You are stuck with them for a whole day! It is completely insufferable to have to pass a whole day with a -2 speed debuff!
For some reason after getting hungry and exausthed, when i eat i don't get the debuffs (don't mind the bars i just edited them a little to fit the UI retexture i'm using)

I couldn't get thirst to work with Drink Water and Eat Frozen which made a new save unplayable. It was slightly weird though in that it sort of worked on my PC, but not on my Steam Deck. I would maybe just test and see?
Hi. How do you Modify the values of edibles. I mean, what value should I write, is there any rule for counting this. I play with a mod Cornucopia - More Crops and I want everything to work, any advice?
This seems like it would make food only used in relation to the food bar and not for energy as the energy bar would never have time to get low enough to need to eat for energy before needing to eat for food. Doesn't this effectively make the food bar replace the energy bar while adding passive decay? Have you tinkered with the idea of having food not granting energy and just food? Energy would then regenerate while reducing food gauge faster than the passive rate while energy is not full. An empty food bar would then exert a passive drain on energy until unconscious. Would likely smooth the whole process out.
Water would then do HP or vice-versa.
Either way, this needs some solid support from a food mod to not just starve to death.

I think early game will become a lot playable with cheap and available meal.
