DM me your smapi log, make sure you have PyTK Lite and not the original PyTK.

Here's mine. They looked OK before (once I installed PyTK Lite), I'm not sure when they started having the problem again.

Try removing that mod where you are experiencing the error, other than that everything looks like it should be fine. It appears you have everything properly installed so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working.

I actually found that removing this one fixes things. No idea why that would mess with your mod (or PyTK, or CP), but in any case it's not a big deal for me to leave it out of this set until/unless something is figured out.

Tip for others: Try moving all your mods except this one and its dependencies out of your mods folder, test to make sure that works OK (then exit without saving), then put a few mods at a time back until the problem happens again. If you can narrow it down to one like this, then put all the rest back and see if any others also trigger it.

This is the first time I use another portrait mod instead of DCBugers', and I'm really enjoying your style. Its really unique, and at the same time, it keeps the vanilla vibe.

My only overall complaint is that the boys are a little too soft-looking? mainly Kent and Shane. With Shane, especially, I wish his five o'clock shadow beard was complete and that he looked more... exhausted. 😅

Besides that, I'm really in love with it! It made me leave a comment in Nexus for the first time, hehe. I hope you keep creating more, and I will definitely keep looking forward to your work.

PS.: Do you consider doing a gender swap version too? That would be awesome! 💖

Thanks so much for this feedback!!! Honestly it’s so funny you say that, I couldn’t agree more about Shane in particular. I will be updating his portrait to give him a more rugged look. Perhaps I will include Kent in this update as well! Seeing as I am a small mod creator, I am happy to make changes for the people who use my mods! I’ll see what I can do, I appreciate this feedback and thank you for downloading!

These look amazing, I'm going to try these out. Will you by any chance be doing a version or expanding this mod for the seasonal edits portraits too?

I usually play with Poltergeister's seasonal edits mod for all my playthroughs, if not then no worries :)

Just to update, I installed this mod with pytk lite the portraits look amazing and I'm excited to see the SVE version you create since I'm playing with SVE in my current game file .

I am unfortunately having a problem with the bachelors and bachelorettes portraits. I think it conflicts with the scale up mod by the same creator as pytk that I have installed for the food and crop sprites mod. All the bachelors and bachelorettes portraits are super zoomed in and smapi had these red errors when the game loaded.

Thanks for the kind words and your update! I am actually working on SVE as we speak so please keep an eye for that if you are interested! I have had a few people ask for Poltergeist's Seasonal Edits, that will be the next thing I tackle after SVE. You are also correct in your thinking, it appears that my portraits are incompatible with Scale Up at this time. I'd recommend removing that and seeing if it fixes the issues you are having, but I know one of your other mods requires it. In the interim, I will do my best to work on a fix. If you continue to experience more issues, please DM me and I will do my best to help you!

Thank you for the response, I really appreciate your hard work and your help. Glad to hear that the seasonal outfits are on your to do list. Just to update I removed the sprite mod I had with scale up 2 plus the seasonal outfit mods I had for SV and SVE. Put back this mod with pytk lite in and I'm not longer having the zoomed in issue with some of the portraits.

So far they seem to be working great, I did receive this red smapi message in my log regarding the wizard, I assume it has to do with the fact that SVE has it's own wizard portraits different to the base SV portrait for him.

Just wanted to comment that I love your portrait mods so much! I feel like they really capture the feel of the characters in a vanilla-esque way which I love. I have been changing around my portraits forever trying to find something that I'm happy with and I've quickly come to love your portraits as my favorites. Super excited for when the SVE portraits come out!

When I put the mod on, the images are very close, how do I fix it?

Make sure you are using PyTk Lite and not the older version of PyTk, it won’t work with the older version. Please also make sure your Content Patcher is up-to-date. Hope this works, message me if you have more trouble.

I love seeing different types of art styles. You're so talented! I'm gonna try this in my next play trough! It also seems like they're really buff, which made me chuckle because I suddenly saw gran as a buff grandmother lmao!

Wooow, thanks ! I think they are amazing. Not the style I usually use (I use "manga style" or "DC Burger style" portraits), but they are very well done I think ! ^_^

It maybe a shock for some people (incuding me) to see portraits for Stardew in an "american comic style" like those... but it's SO refreshing ! And I will repeat myself , but once again, they are WELL DONE !

All the eyes look different for every character, they really have their own eyes, and also their own facial structures. These details are very important to me, because it's what makes them "them", you know what I mean ? If there is one thing I don't like from some portraits creators sometimes, it's when they do charcaters who all looks "alike" ! Here this is not the case... and they are well disigned ! XD

Apart from all the different facial structures and eyes that I love, I also love that you did beautiful realistic noses for everyone ! Noses are very hard to make when you touch the realistic style. Those who went for the "manga style", they don't have that hard thing to make, I m sorry for them but that's true XD. There's nothing more easy than making a successful "manga nose style" (Because a manga nose is almost nothing to do, sometimes you just make a "point" or a single line to make them, just placed in the good spot and that's all !), when making a "realistic nose style" can be a pain... I know what I m talking about, I m an artist too XD

So THANKS AGAIN for those, I can't wait to try them !! I love all about them, only maybe the lips you did, that's the only litle thing I don't really like, but that's because I have never been a fan of big lips (Maybe because mines are thin and I always feel discriminated when I see big lips everywhere ! XD Ahah XD)

Oh, and I forgot to say, oops : I also LOVE the way you did cheeks, as well plain cheeks (like Pam's cheeks XD), or hollow cheeks, like Eliot's cheeks (Oh my, so nicely donnnnnee !!)
Or the way you put cheeks high or not on the face... like those ones on Willy's face : he has high cheeks with his brown hair, and so know he really looks like my dad so I love him, ahah XD

Well, I'll stop talking now, sorry. Always passionate when I love artistic stuff. One more thing though : I would love to see your work on SVE and Ridgeside  portraits or even East Scarp... just sayin, noooo pressurrrre ! ^^ Continue the good work anyway !

And I'll reapeat myself when I say some people might be shocked because it changes sooo much from the style we are used about portraits on Nexus, so... some people will be shocked and won't like it, and some others like me will LOVE IT ! (And appreciate also its aesthetic qualities !)

    ;D

Thank you so much for your feedback, I am so happy you are enjoying them! SVE is definitely my next project, so if you like my vanilla and RSV portraits, stay tuned for SVE!

I also appreciate the constructive criticism, it helps to know what the community likes and doesn’t like so that I can make adjustment to suit those preferences moving forward!

The comments like yours are what make my efforts worth it, I am so pleased you like them! <3
