If you've ever wished for an earlier and more consistent way to get your hands on battery packs in the midgame or just want pretty little decorations to spin on your farm, this mod might be for you.

Mini Wind Turbines adds, unsurprisingly, miniature wind turbines that slowly but continously produce battery packs. For more in-depth info about how to unlock them and how exactly they work, click the following spoiler.

  • In order to obtain the crafting recipe per mail, you must have reached five hearts of friendship with both Maru and Demetrius and need a mining level of five.
  • Once you've obtained the mail, you'll be able to craft mini wind turbines with five gold bars, six bat wings (for the blades) and one battery pack (the generator).
  • Additionally, after getting the mail, you'll be able to buy them from Robin's shop for 4000 gold.
  • Placed turbines generate one battery pack every ten days. Because they're wind turbines, though, windy days decrease the time it takes to finish producing the battery by another day.
  • They're still wind turbines – that means they won't produce anything if they're placed indoors. They'll still spin, though, so... just pretend there's an open window hiding off-screen.

I'm very open to feedback – I tried my best to balance the turbines properly, but I'm not sure if I managed to hit the sweet spot in terms of unlocking requirements, crafting materials and battery output. If you've got suggestions, bug reports or just comments telling me you like them, please just post them in the posts section!
Additionally, if you like this mod, please consider endorsing it. It helps boost visiblity and is an easy way for you to let mod authors know you like their stuff.

Surprisingly not a lot as I'm still rebuilding my 1.6 mod list!

... to everyone who's supported me, of course. The usual suspects – you know who you are and I greatly appreciate having you around, both for moral support and art advice!
Special mention to Atra and Esca who helped me find out why the production time reduction wasn't actually working (Spoiler: It was. Turns out reducing it by 4 minutes doesn't do a whole lot, though. Or anything.)
