I have a conundrum regarding which mod is the original source of this issue: mod 21095 or mod 19505.
During the event "PennyExpanded_ArchaeologyEvent," one of the questions for the farmer is: *"Who do you think should have the book?"* Currently, all answer choices provide positive friendship points, regardless of the choice made.
I don’t believe this is intentional, as some choices should logically give negative points if you’re not selecting Penny.
Heya, I got to the event that was "9 Hearts, 7 Hearts with Pam, 5 heart Saloon event seen, Bus Stop" and noticed that Pam refers to me with male pronouns regardless of my gender (which is female.) With the line "He can stay", it doesn't occur in the next line that uses my pronouns "Not because i don't appreciated what she did for me" It's not a big deal but is there something that could be done to change it? idk if the other events i haven't seen yet will do the same, that's all. Thanks and have a good day.
Hi, just ran into this mod. I have a question. The original mod says that it won't work well with any mod that alters Penny's or Pam's dialogue files. Is this still the case for this mod? I'm using canon-friendly dialogue expansion, so in that sense they already do have changed dialogue. I don't know enough about Stardew modding to figure out whether this means those files are changed as well, but I'm assuming they are. Thanks in advance for your time and attention.
I also use canon-friendly dialogue expansion. Here is an explanation from their page:
"Is this mod compatible with other dialogue mods?
-Yes, sort of. If you install this mod along with another dialogue mod, all dialogue changes will be implemented. Exceptions are if two mods add/replace/modify the same "slot" in the code, which frequently happens. For example: Two mods want to change Shane's winter_4 dialogue. The mod that loads last will be the one you'll see in game. Mods load in alphabetical order, as they appear in your Mods folder."
I would recommend playing with both mods installed, with your preferred one loaded last. If there is a conflict, you still get modded dialogue from one of the two mods.
Penny is a bit more forward and warm with Penny Expanded, and it is alphabetically naturally under Canon Dialogue Expansion, so if you change nothing, you will get a more forward and warmer Penny, with both installed.
does this (and/or the penny expanded mod) change her 2 heart event from what it is in the vanilla game? wondering because i really dislike that event and i would love a mod that got rid of it completely lmao (i have not played enough to know from the description if the 2 heart event has been completely reimagined in this mod, sorry if it seems like a silly question!)
If I use your mod along with CP Penny Expanded (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/11069), will there be 6 duplicate events? Asking since I want to see all the extra events but it sounds like some would be added twice. Or, if you could add those extras into yours as a config option, that'd be pretty great!
Hi, they will not work well together. If you want all the events, best to use the other mod. It would be 5x as much work as I already did to include all the events, as I would have to rewrite a lot of the other ones. They are not at the same base quality.
