How do I change the wallpaper and flooring? Whenever I try to change it with the paint bucket only an error code shows up saying it doesn't have alternative textures this season.
I just want to say that these look much better ingame then on the screenshots. This has nothing to do with the quality of the screenshots. It's just that the wallpaper-patterns just look much better singular and large on your screen.
If you are on the fence downloading it, then please give it a go. It's a texture mod that can be easily removed without messing up your save. This wallpaper and floor compilation has a great variety that should match many people's taste. I don't like cute stuff so I avoid the rabbit wallpapers, but boy do I like many of these patterns and colors. I recommend the AT version. Go to Robin and buy the paint bucket. Use the paint bucket like a tool on the wall or floor you want to change.
Since you can add new walls & floors with just content patcher in 1.5.5+, would you consider adding a version of the mod that does that? (instead of replacing existing walls & floors or requiring AT)

Hey! So I have a question. I was able to download the CP version of the mod, but it replaced some of the vanilla wallpapers and flooring that I liked. So, I was wondering if there was a way that I could add new wallpapers/floors without replacing the original ones?
hello! i'm sorry for late reply and its probably not relevant anymore, but have you tried "custom walls and floors" version of this mod? this mod doesnt replace any "vanilla" textures, but adds them separately and you can buy them through the catalog
I converted these files so they work as Alternative Textures content packs, please let me know if you'd like a copy to update your mod with. Otherwise your permissions seem to say it's ok to use your files if credit is given and I might upload it myself.
I'm still pretty ignorant regarding Stardew mods so this might be a stupid question... how are Alternative Textures different from this mod? Lol I feel sooo dumb.
CP mods replace the textures of what's in the game, so for example Alex's gridball wallpaper might turn into a sheep wallpaper, an AT pack adds textures, so you'd still have Alex's gridball wallpaper but you can use the paint bucket to change it to something else.

I don't know if this mod is okay to use in 1.5, but I can't apply any of the wallpapers or floors in game. I've made sure everything is up to date. Any idea whats happening? I'm grabbing them from the wallpaper and floor catalog in game
Did you make sure to install the base version of the mod, made by Platonymous? If you did though, the base mod is very glitchy. I thought it was just something I messed up but the comments on that mod say the same things. I only ask if you downloaded Platonymous' mod because, although it is extremely glitchy, the floors do place for me...well they do for the first few and then floors and walls won't change. Sometimes however, when I restart the game the walls and floors have changed to the ones that I tried to do before. Hope all this makes sense.
I don't know if you're still active but I'm experiencing an issue with this mod, specifically the custom furniture version. I can place down one of your wallpapers and floorings but I can't replace it or remove it with any other wallpaper or flooring. This includes wallpapers and flooring from the original game and from your mod. What do I do?
