Make sure that your shop interface is not too big.
If your interface fills up the screen like this, that means you need to either raise your resolution or lower your UI scale from the in-game settings menu to make space for the portraits.
Hi. I have installed Hat Mouse and Friends mod, and already checked Nyapu style in your mod but their portraits remain the same. Do you know why? Should I include my log also?
The hat seller portrait changes, but the other mice they didn't. And desert trader portrait sometimes didn't match the sprite, what I meant here is that a portrait of an old person was shown instead the woman when the sprite clearly was a woman. And old mariner to a mermaid portrait also didn't change. In my latest log I already deleted several mods, including old mariner to mermaid mod, due to decrease in FPS and lags.
EDIT: Unfortunately I can't include my parsed log here as I already tried several times in my browser and the parser failed to parse the log due to the request entity is too large. Maybe my RAM here is my limitation to parse my own log. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FzQ6qodoL61tN8zVAt5VRC_zfELIUhdUk/view?usp=sharing
Unfortunately that log is way too large (5o million characters!) to be of use. What you can do it start the game again (maybe without Profiler), talk to the mouse, close the game, and then provide that log.
Thank you for the log! Looking at it, it doesn't seem that you actually have Hat Mouse and Friends mod installed. Maybe you are mistaking it with Mouse Friends in the Forest? That one doesn't have any interaction with Portraits for Vendors.
As for the Desert Trader, most likely Way Back Pelican Town overrides my desert trader sprites, so you'd need to disable the desert trader rotation from my mod.
Hi. Thank you for replying me on my problem. Yes, you are correct that I mistook your mod to another mod. Again, thank you for clearing me on that one.
This is one of those mods that's so good it could have been vanilla. All the portraits are so good and their presence adds so much more life to the game! Its a must-have mod for even the lightest modded playthroughs imo
Do the shops tended by NPCs (Pierre, Robin, Marnie) show their portraits? If not, then the problem is not with my mod and you'd need to find out how to make your game to show show portraits in general.
Unfortunately, I don’t have access to an Android device and can’t test on it, so I’m unsure what the issue might be. My mod is a simple content patch, so everything should behave the same as it does on PC, as long as the Android version of SMAPI supports it.
Your best bet would be to report this to the Android SMAPI developers
Hi! Thank you for this wonderful mod. I really love it. It works for most of the vendors in the game. I'm getting an error from smapi when I load into the game.
Hello! The mod has two components. It seems to me that either you didn't put the folder called "OldMarinerDialogue" into your mods folder or, if you're using a mod manager, you didn't activate the component called "TDIT - Dialogue Box for Mariner".
anyone get HD to work? Im testing it w the traveling merchant but copying the name isnt working. the file is 256x256. I do have SVE is it compatible with it??
If you are using SVE, then the portrait you get for the traveling merchant is from SVE, not from my mod. So to make any change to her portrait you'd need to patch SVE's portrait asset instead of mine.
Are you asking how to change the SVE portrait of the traveling merchant? If so, you'll need to use a framework called Scale Up 2.
For an example, you can check out howDacar Stardew Valley Expanded anime style portraitsimplement it. To my knowledge, it's currently the only HD portrait mod for vanilla SVE that includes a working HD portrait for the traveling merchant.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I have Seasonal Mariner to Mermaid installed as well
Maybe you'd be interested in Dusty Overhaul?
Mod works though, went for a fast check at joja mart & the cashier's portraits are appearing.
