Thanks for posting. This mod definitely should not decrease the spawn rate of artifact spots, as it is just a retexture mod. That said, it hasn't been optimized for version 1.6 and the default artifact dig spot texture (with the harder to see brown worms/sticks) is a possible texture no matter which alternative textures are chosen (I am working on changing this).
I have a Content Patcher version of this mod that has been updated for 1.6. It does work best with the Generic Mod Config Menu, an additional mod, but the texture options do fully replace the default brown worms/sticks for artifact dig spots. Just wanted to give a heads up about that mod as an option.
thank you for the reply! loving this mod. Question though, the content patcher one can you only select one of the designs youve made? or is there a way to have all of them appear. I downloaded that version earlier and couldnt figure out so thats why im on this version now
Wow, that is something I totally did not think about, but thank you for bringing this up I am definitely going to look into it and see how I can provide the option to choose more than one potential texture for dig spots/seed spots.

hey, i'd love to add this for 1.6, but there are two different types of dig spots now--i'm guessing this mod doesn't account for that? will it potentially be updated so it will be? thank you! <3
Is there an easy way to make a content patcher version of this myself? I'd love the brighter sticks to help me see it better but I don't have alternative textures (and yes I know I can just install it easy enough but I thought I'd ask just in case it was an easy thing to do).

Sorry you are running into issues with the mod. What version of the game and SMAPI are you running?
