So it's not your fault as these events weren't created with even SVE in mind, let alone SVE + RSV + ES, but holy s#*! the PennyExpanded_ArchaeologyEvent1 in this mod just does not fit in with all those mods. Makes Gunther just mustache twirlingly evil and incompetent. Figured I'd call it out since that's a fairly popular mod set thanks to the VERY extended collection.
Gunther says that Penny owes the library money for use of its space and its books, admitting her use is primarily for teaching Vincent and Jas. Because she doesn't legally live in the valley somehow (I guess a trailer next door to the mayor's house doesn't count?) she is beholden to a more strict set of rules for use of the facilities, which includes costs. Gunther says that she must pay her overdue balance immediately or she and the kids have to leave. He makes sure to clarify to the player that what he's doing is legal and that he could legally enforce even worse fees. Your response options are to pay for her, tell Gunther to stop or you'll never donate artifacts again (he gets sad because you're the only person donating things to keep the place open, then still insists that she has to pay, just not immediately), literally "Think of the children!", or to just walk away.
Personally that already seems ridiculous for vanilla given that she is effectively the town school teacher, and her students are unarguably town residents. Plus the fact that unless someone living next door to the mayor is getting away with her living on their land illegally, in real life a trailer on a set lot can be a legal domicile. If that was a canon scene I would never donate to the museum again.
Add in the additional children (and teacher) from RSV and ES using the library as a school and it goes beyond that into pure Gunther-mustache twirling absurdity.
So while I appreciate the effort, and I enjoyed the "trying to find work" scene, holy s#*! do not use this with RSV and ES on top of SVE. Just makes Gunther come off as evil hiding behind the least believable technicalities, or at best as entirely unable to work out funding issues in any competent manner.
I asked other mod creators and found out "it turns out, while you are only Married after the wedding and engaged until then, they are still set as your Spouse immediately. so, that precondition will actually happen asap (edited)"
If you are not going to include the same info in the description as the original mod the least you can do is link the page so we can easily get to and read about what the mod actually does.
Got a new warning from Content Patcher (I think because of recent updates to improve CP):
[Content Patcher] Error loading patch 'Penny Expanded Patch for SVE > Include Assets/{{Trailer}}.json': file 'Assets\Trailer_Big.json' doesn't exist.. It looks like your mod is trying to include Trailer_Big.json when the player has seen an event (I'm guessing it's the "upgrade home" event). But the original Penny Expanded mod didn't have Trailer_Big.json so... are the patched additions supposed to be the same as in Trailer.json?
I have a conundrum regarding which mod is the original source of this issue: mod 21095 or mod 19505.
During the event "PennyExpanded_ArchaeologyEvent," one of the questions for the farmer is: *"Who do you think should have the book?"* Currently, all answer choices provide positive friendship points, regardless of the choice made.
I don’t believe this is intentional, as some choices should logically give negative points if you’re not selecting Penny.
yes I realize that now, however those are just 2 of the 4 response available. To be more detailed, the other choices are "I have no idea" which gives friendship points even thought it should not.
Also I forgot to add the picture
And with your reply, the friendship points given as seen on the picture is not the same as the one you posted
Thank you for making an updated version of the mod. Does this add everything that the original mod was able to add? More importantly, does this still add more post-marriage dialogue for Penny?
Yes. This adds everything that the original mod had. All I did was mainly change how backend stuff worked (event ids, way mod was loaded into game, etc). Now, the dialogue may have changed a little (I think I made her like the cold slightly more as I myself love winter) and I added a line or two here and there and revised the few grammatical errors in events.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Heya, i don't know if it's in your power to do so but I'm...""Working"" on a slight alteration of this mod to look better with the "Less ugly interiors" mod, just fixing some positioning etc. If i was to give full credit to both you AND Wolvenlight would i be okay to share it here? Heck I'd even just give you the altered files and let you upload it yourself. Just get back to me if you're able to, have a good one.
You should be able to upload it as it's own by deeming it a "patch" of mods X and Y. So long as you credit the people that need it, I don't see an issue. I myself couldn't really care less if files I make/edit get used elsewhere, I put it on a public forum for a reason. Others have varying views on the topic.
When i get penny events im getting the same event back to back. Is it because i have the penny expanded SVE and the OG version? Should I disable the OG and keep this one or is there a different fix?
Yes, you only need my version. The original version is currently out of date. I got permission from Wolvenlight to update his mod which came to light in the form of this mod. The reason the same event plays twice is because while updating the mod, I changed the event id's from number chains to strings so it is easier to find events and keep track of stuff.

I don't know if this is this mod's or Michaus's More for Penny but Expanded adds lot of post marriage dialogues so I think this is from Expanded.
If possible, could I get a full smapi log with the error? as far as I know, I don't even break 300 text lines for Penny in the mod including event dialogue. However, I will look into it so thanks for the heads up
so, if I'm reading it correctly, it actually is neither Penny Expanded for 1.6 nor Miihau's More Penny Heart Events Mod. It seems to be from something that Custom Fixed Dialogue is causing. Sadly, can give no more help as I don't know how to work with .dll files which that mod uses. I hope this at least helps narrow your search and helps you get to a solution

For some reason "A day of married life part 1 started just after giving Penny the pedant. 3 days before marriage :D
"it turns out, while you are only Married after the wedding and engaged until then, they are still set as your Spouse immediately. so, that precondition will actually happen asap (edited)"
