- Which version do you use? -> Full or Performance - Which color did you use? - Which season did the issue occur? - Does it happen on a custom map or a vanilla map? - Provide a smapi log (preferably with a full patch summary)
I know you're going through A LOT of stuff right now, and first of all wanted to say PLEASE put yourself first.
Second, the recolor of Jas' tree cuts off part of the big tree behind it - is it okay with you if I whip up a quick fix and post it? (or I could send it to you so you have less work to do :P)

Hello Yri! I want to say I've installed this, yes I know it's very patchy due to not compatible with the new tiles that's added in 1.6 updated, I just wanted to trial & test the colours you have in the mod :D and they all look awesome! And I see that you said you're in hospital, I hope you get well soon and recover well. No rush at all, I only want to suggest two things for you to (if possibly) add to the new version of this mod - dirt colour, I've seen light green, and mocha, and for me personally, mocha is too dark, and light brown is too light, LOL, so maybe make a medium brown as a new colour addition in the selection options? And for Fall colour, I like orange, orange alt is too bold, but the orange doesn't feel 'fall' orange in that sense, so maybe a new orange addition, like you have green mixed, so maybe orange mixed with some red?
That's all I wanted to say! I ESPECIALLY love the retro crop! It's brilliant. I haven't checked out the retro trees yet but I will do. I really look forward to the 1.6 version of this mod, but please, take your time to heal up and recover first of all, we all can wait for this to come when you are ready and healed. Take care of yourself first <3
This recolor is one of my absolute favorite mods. The whole look is smooth and professional. It's an absolute joy to exist in a world that looks like this. It satisfies a craving I didn't know I had for a certain type of pixel art. Whenever I'm not sure if I want to play Stardew Valley, thinking about these colors is what brings me back into the game. I hope you'll be able to update to 1.6 at some point! For now, though, it's kind of fun being able to see which tiles are new... I never notice stuff like that.
Updating to 1.6 might take a while, I am still in the hospital but I took a look at the update and there are a lot of new tilesheets that I have to redraw and recolor. None of those tilesheets were in the 1.6. alpha that was provided to the modders to update ahead of time. So I can't tell how long it might take me to update all the assets but I try my best.
I hope you get better soon Yri!!! I just discovered about this recolor and decided to boot on 1.5.6 to check it out. Its the first time ever I liked a recolor mod, its really impressive! Ill wait for the mod 1.6 update together with your other mods to start a new gameplay. take care of yourself!!!!
Playing in 1.6. Anyone else have a bug where it doesn't change anything in summer? It works in spring (minus the certain edges but I know that's a different bug rn) but it reverted back to normal in summer and wont let me change anyhting
Sooo...I messed around and found a temporary fix for it. If you or anyone else wants to fix it here's how I did it: 1. Go into Yri's retro recolor\Data 2. Click on Grass 3. Scroll down to //Grass Summer 4. Delete the first instance of "When": {"LocationContext": "Valley",}, "Update": "OnLocationChange" that you see. (Be sure not to delete the "}," at the end! 5. repeat the same steps for the other files you want to fix e.g. Dirt, Sand. 6. Done! This fix is only for summer! I don't know yet if Fall is working or not because I haven't played that far yet.
Hey. I'm sorry it didn't work. I ended up downloading the performance version for better load times, and as expected, summer didn't work, nor did fall. (I used CBJ menu to change the season quickly). The default grass for summer is Mixed green, so I changed it to a random other option to see if it worked. To my surprise, it loaded! :D and when I changed it back to mixed green, it also worked. If you want to try it be sure to use performance version and tell me if it works, I hope it works for you :D (also the patchiness will still be there of course since the new tiles have not been recolored yet)
