This mod is currently unmaintained. It IS updated for 1.6.
I've decided to step back from Stardew modding for the time being, due to general burnout, which I already felt during 1.5.6, and has only gotten worse with the 1.6 release. Who knows, maybe I'll come back to modding this game one day, but for now, it is what it is.
If you're interested in maintaining the mod (just updates, bugfixes, compatibility patches, but maybe new features too?), let me know via a NexusMods DM, or on the Stardew Valley Discord server, or a Discord DM (my handle is @shockah) - I plan on giving mod page edit access to anyone interested, and also switching all DP to the maintainer.

I'm just popping in to say that I just ran my game, and no errors (I checked bc Stardrop warned me that smapi.io was listing this mod as broken atm). I'm only using your Stack Size Changer mod, so maybe not super helpful but hopefully helps with process of elimination w the issue?
No such plans. I'm using features not available to me when working with said version, and I'm not even sure I even can build any mods for that version when using the latest Visual Studio.
Do you have an older version of XP Display? If so, try updating to the newest version. Also, make sure SMAPI is up to date.
Edit: I checked you’re log, so nvm about XP Display, as you don’t have it installed. SMAPI should be updated to version 3.18.3, tho. It may also help to install the update to have the Error Handler folder that comes with SMAPI

It caused my game to crash once I opened the game
