This is indeed a pain, however you can edit your save file in a text editor and edit the values there (this is basically what this mod does anyways); this will be a big load on your PC as it's a fairly longish file so you might experience some lag loading the file or doing a search in it.
To find your save file hit your Windows key and R at the same time, in the text field type the following and then hit the OK button:
%appdata%\StardewValley\Saves Now go to your save game folder (should look something like Farmname_123456789) and open the file with the same name as your save game folder in a text editor Notepad or Wordpad. Search for zoomLevel and uiScale and edit those values there.
<zoomLevel>1</zoomLevel> is your playfield at 100%. Changing this to 0.50 will reduce it to 50%. Same goes for uiScale.
By changing the zoom level you may find other mods that use menus or displayable elements like Enemy Healthbars and Ladder Locator won't display correctly unless you use the same value for the UI scale as for the zoom level. Also 50% is the lowest setting before the playfield starts clipping.
Works like a charm! Kudos to you! This is amazing. Last time I played this game a couple years ago, I used all sorts of other weird tricks to zoom out. This is so much better. Thanks again!
Hi, sorry to bother, but with the new update of Sardew this mod doesn't work anymore ( at least to me ). Is there any possibility that you will update the mod, please?
