For those curious, I just tested this mod now that Custom Cask Mod has been updated and Age More Things appears to work fine. I tested juice, roe, and jelly and it worked after a few quick tests. It was not a thorough test by any means but I will definitely be adding this awesome mod into my playthrough :)
The jelly seems to be processing in the casks. I was wondering if there would be a chance for there to be a compatibility patch with Advanced Casks Mod?
Oh, this is cool! I overlooked at first since I've been using CC mod. I was so frustrated when I took the time to add "Aged LVa Eel Roe" and the cask ignored me. What'd you do to get around this? It also wouldn't take certain pickles made using More Pickles Products, like the pickled flowers. Confusing.
Really sorry for the late reply! Honestly all I did was add the general aged roe item ID and it just sorta worked. Have you had any compatability issues with using other mods with this mod? I don't use anything that adds more roe, juice, etc, so I can't check.
Well, I installed this mod and it does not seem to work for me :<. Tried to put an Aged Scorpian Carp Roe in the preserves jar and it wouldn't take. I've added a bunch of items (from various mods like ppja) to the cask data for CC already and most of them work, but not all. Aged Roe, Honey, Jelly, pickles from More Than Forage... none of these work, even with specific item names.
I have the feeling fixing this might be beyond my capabilities, since it might be because the mods that add more stuff use a different system for item IDs. I'll look into it when I have time, but I don't think I'll be able to fix it :(
You remind me of the game Glitch (later ElevenGiants, now...gone! cry) ...it was possible to make cheese from butterfly milk, then make stinky cheese from that cheese; then very stinky cheese, then VERY, VERY stinky cheese! This came with some kind of negative buff...I don't remember.
These items were so cute. Not quite as chintzy with the image sizes as SDV is.

Thanks for the comment! I've never heard of that game before :O Mod making is fairly easy when you're making content packs (aka mods that require mods other than SMAPI, like Content Patcher mods). Custom Cask Mod has probably been the easiest one to work with for me, so it might be a good intro to modding (like, you could try to make a mod that makes coffee ageable in casks!). Content Patcher also has very good documentation, so while it's a bit more difficult, it's a lot easier to understand from scratch than many other mod foundations.

Mod making is fairly easy when you're making content packs (aka mods that require mods other than SMAPI, like Content Patcher mods). Custom Cask Mod has probably been the easiest one to work with for me, so it might be a good intro to modding (like, you could try to make a mod that makes coffee ageable in casks!). Content Patcher also has very good documentation, so while it's a bit more difficult, it's a lot easier to understand from scratch than many other mod foundations.
