Thanks for the mod! The mod works fine in splitscreen, but for custom portrait and background we can only use one image when playing splitscreen. How can we do it to show different portrait for per player?
In the version posted just now you can now target farmers by their name, and can just put png files in the mod's folder; check the new info on the description page.
Hi, since this is around the same question I wanted to ask here, I have zero knowledge about Content Patcher, so I had a quick question: Could the seasonal portraits and split-screen work?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I'm curious as to how I can configure portrait reactions for specific characters using content patcher as it says in the mod config menu (I'm a complete newbie to modding so I have no idea how to work the code). Is there anywhere I can learn how to do this?

Hello, mistyspring updated this a while back for 1.6 when it came out (here), and added the 'configure portrait reactions' you are looking for. Sorry if this is a silly question, but how will this update work with seasonal portraits now? I have enabled custom portraits with the seasonal CP pack installed and nothing has happened. My farmer only looks like it's game sprite in convos. I tried moving the pack folder and then pictures into the mod folder directly, but still nothing happened either time. Would you just recommend sticking with the older version for now if we use the seasonal pack? Thank you for all your hard work on this mod, it's one of my favorites!!

I want to get into some light modding and I have a question: I would like to write a small mod that allows changing the scale of specifically the custom farmer portrait. What should I target if I wanted to set the scale to let's say 4.12x instead of the default 4x?
This would most likely fix a minor inconsistency when using Portraited Changing Skies, where it looks like the farmer portrait is floating above the background edge by a line of pixels. I was looking to write a very small compatibility mod that someone who has Farmer Portraits and wants to use Portraited Changing Skies can match the scaling of the farmer's custom portrait to the villager portraits.
same Ive only seen a video explaining how in another language and even then he didnt fully show the process T-T edit I finally got it to work and I dont know how but I downloaded the main file and optional seasonal pack file and put my art in the seasonal pack file and had the seasonal pack and main file separate in the mods folder ( I did this before and it didn't work I dont know what changed or why it wasn't working before but Im so glad its not an issue anymore)
I think they mean how to actually integrate the png they have to the mod. Which is something i am also having trouble with. I enabled the custom portrait but don't know where to put the png to work EDIT: jk i figured it out you have to make sure to download the other files the content pack one and replace the png from there

I use the in-game farmer sprite, but non-vanilla clothes don't even appear in the portrait and the hats are weird like this
