just wondering, is this compatible with the friendly divorce mod? sorry im just desperate because im married to penny but victor from SVE is right there ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
hi there! soooooo sorry for the extremely late response, i haven't been active on nexus in a very long time.
i'm unfortunately not familiar with that mod, however there shouldn't be any compatibility issues UNLESS it also edits the "divorced" dialogue line. if i recall correctly, if the other mod also changes the divorced dialogue line, then whichever mod is loaded first will show up in game. my mod only affects the divorced and divorced gift dialogue lines :0!
if you'd like to still use that mod but are unsure of compatibility and if you have the capability/know how, you're more than welcome to edit my dialogue lines into the other mod's json file (if it allows) for your own personal use :)
This is cool! I had an idea to do something similar but only got as far as Haley. Potentially you could use it with friendly divorces and set some sort of flag to activate them. Friendly Divorces removes the Divorced flag. So youd probably need to do something like check to see if youd seen their 14-heart event and that their status was not married, which would imply divorce (and potentially memory wipe I suppose).
If you are interested I can send you the code for it. If not, then just know i love the idea of spouses that still talk to you.
hmmmm i wonder if that would be too advanced for my limited knowledge, but that's definitely interesting to think about in the future!!
