If anyone wants to fix this, there's a quick way to do it!
Go to your Mods folder > [CP] Mountain View Redone > open content.json with Notepad or whatever it is you fancy. Change "Format": (whatever version is here) to "Format": "2.0.0". Save it and it's done!
Many mods that have stopped working with 1.6 can be fixed like this, since they're aren't technically broken - just outdated to work with the recent CP version. I checked the tiles and coordinates this mod replaces and nothing has changed, so it really is just not updated to work with Content Patcher 2.0.
Thank you sm for this!! For anyone else trying to make this mod work, I saw another comment mentioning editing the tilesheet if you have the VPR 1.6 temp fix and I didn't need to do that. I just changed the content.json file like above and it's working for me :)
if you're using the VPR 1.6 temporary fix mod, it's not broken, it's just been overwritten by that! i managed to get it to work by manually editing the tilesheets in the VPR fix folder :)
I haven't had any issues with it on the latest versions of SMAPI and Content Patcher, do you get any error messages or is it just not showing up in game?
I made it work with custom menu backrounds by simply setting mountaints to vanilla but for trees you have to set it to vanilla or any cofig then delete the file you set the configs on. Although it won't match the backrounds it still looks good on some
I think this mod conflict with my recolor mod, after add Dependencies in manisfest and it didn't change anything, I try to edit the Cursors.png file by myself. Just replace the mountains and check the content to make sure has the same content as this mod.
Sorry for my English, hope there will be someone can understand.
P.S If your recolor mod changes Clouds.png and HarveyBalloonTiles.png, you should do the same thing to both of the files.
I'm not sure why, but this mod just does not work for me. I've redownloaded it multiple times and have never seen any changes to the background. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix?
I don't see anything that jumps out as being wrong, my best guess is another mod overwriting the changes from mine. If you can figure out which one, adding the culprit as a false dependency in my mod would make sure it loads after it and the changes aren't overwritten.
I found the conflict! Starblue Valley (a recolor mod) has its own mountain sprite. Unfortunately, that asset file is combined with other assets, so I can't just remove it. It also has the trees in the foreground and harvey's balloon scene but I am able to remove those. :)
Awesome work, but I don't get the night sky in the sell recap. I wondered if I need another mod for the sky to be like your picture, 'cause it looks amazing and I want that thanks for the amazing work and have a nice day
