I love this mod very much <3 It's one of my favorites since I like honey so much IRL and feel a need to have tons and tons of beehives on my farm. I need advice on something that seems different since the update though. I have the option on in the menu for beehouses to detect forage flowers, but I'm not sure if it's working. I am using Wild Flowers Reimagined as well as Wildflour's Forager which gives more flowers, and although the beehive is surrounded by these wild growing flowers it gives wild honey and not flower honey. The flowers seem to affect the quality despite not having the bear knowledge and do not affect the abundance. I even have it set to where it doesn't use the closest flower, it uses a random one, in case maybe some of the flowers weren't registering right or something. The beehives by my fruit trees have little paths to and from a tree and give fruit honey, so I know the mod itself is working. There's no paths to any flowers, though. I was wondering if this is a mod conflict, if I perhaps did something wrong or neglected to properly adjust my settings, or if Wild Flowers don't count as forage flowers so I just need to plant a flower nearby. I know before the 1.6 update the original Wild Flowers mod by Aedenthorn worked with the old Better Beehouses, but I understand it just might not be possible right now. I am sorry if this was addressed somewhere else already, I did a quick browse and didn't see any mention of it but I have been known to be blind/daft. I saw a mention that all flowers should be inherently compatible, but I mentioned the mod I use since it might cause flowers to no longer be considered forage or the normal planted kind. I have not yet tried a potted flower, I don't have that recipe yet.
This option only enables detecting forage- it is still filtered to items specifically categorized as flowers, or using the "honey_source" context tag. If it's not detecting forage flowers from WF, then Wildflour likely categorized the items as something other than flowers and did not tag them as being usable for honey. This can be fixed by her, or by making an addon CP pack. (Or enabling Anything Honey, though that may have undesired side effects.)
For Wildflowers Reimagined, I can add integration. I had it for the original mod in 1.5 and simply disabled it because the mod wasn't updated. I'll look into adjusting it for the remake. Thanks for mentioning it, btw, I wasn't aware anyone had remade that mod yet.
Hi, I realized that the Chinese translation doesn't seem to apply to the latest version, so I updated it. Here it is. I'd really appreciate it if you'd update this translation. If you think this is too much trouble, can I post it separately?
Hello, is it necessary to edit something in ''config.json'' for this mod to work? I saw that we can use apiaries with plants in pots, but in my case, it doesn't work :(
Thank you for the post about the floors - mine started working now when I removed the floors.
(For more info, I do have Automate with Crystal Path connectors, but beehouses weren't working on normal Stepping Stone path tiles. After removing the tiles, I am seeing the Bees fly to the flowers now, when they were previously just sitting at the houses. I thought it was supposed to be that way & couldn't figure out why I got Wild Honey a whole season.)
I love this mod so I can plant flowers in pots and still have bees :) Thanks
Additional Tree Equipments should already support custom honey sources. I can see about adding support for the other features as well.
Machine Progression System unfortunately uses Producer Framework Mod. PFM does not use vanilla game code for finding flowers, it instead uses its own internal system that is difficult to modify without causing lots of bugs or breaking PFM packs. I do not currently have plans to support any PFM packs, though in the long term, I will probably look into it when I have the time.
Better beehouses has improved support for custom beehouses in 2.1.0.
The author of Additional Tree Equipments needs to add the "bee_house" context tag to their bee house to have it work with particles and indoor modifications. It already works with the custom honey settings out of the box.
Machine Progression System bee houses work with the custom honey settings in 2.1.0, but to get the particles, they need to be tagged with "bee_house". Indoor modifications don't work with PFM machines yet, but that shouldn't be a huge issue with MPS specifically.
I might be dumb, the mod works without errors, but I'm not getting bees to come out anymore. Aerospace says it's been retired. Do they not come out anymore? Either way, great mod and thank you
I can confirm that this is still an issue, my pots didn't work when they were placed on a floor. When I removed the floor under the flower pot the beehouses found the flower instantly.

For clarity: I've tried using them in sheds and in the farm cave.
- Version 2.1.0
- PFM integration
- Custom Tapper Framework integration
- FIxed pots not working on floors
- Added bush support
- Readded bee swarm particles
- Internal improvements & bugfixes
- Support for custom bee-house-like machines (tagged with bee_house)
Thank you!Can you make a version compatible with the mod (Eemie's Bees)
her bees are beautiful

The bee sprites are 8x8, and eemie's are 10x10, so the sprites are too large to fit.
