This version though can be deleted from your mods folder as you'll now have the new version to enjoy. Everything in the new update is fresh out of the oven and it doesn't require this one and the latter at the same time, since it includes all of what this version has plus much more!
Maybe you have some questions in mind to make, and I'll add them here already answering and explaining a bit more of the planned lol. Before starting, just wanna say that took me days to finally answer who commented here, because I had school things to do.

+ Do you have future plans for this project? The mod has been updated and I still do have plans for it, but will take time and effort. I spent a while making new 16x16px sprites to add more to the mod, and I went through an overwhelming feeling because of it. So then, my friend told me to just release what I already had, and I did it.
+ Do you have any plans to make addons for custom mod items? Rephrasing to the right way to say it: other people mods art, redrawn by me to fit my artstyle. To this point, I don't have any plans, so yeah, I didn't get any comments at all asking for it, so I'm relieved haha.
If you didn't knew yet, I am part of Ridgeside Village team and I made some items, including fish sprites for the mod. That's really cool, isn't?
+ I found a bug If the bug is smoll, send it here. I'll provide a fix (cahem, not me-), but not something I want to give priority, that's only for bigger things. Fortunately, after Airyn redid the mod codes, everything got fixed so a big thanks to him! #Airynsupremacy.
+ Is VT compatible with SVE? This mod is a texture pack, which means it makes visual changes to your in-game items. SVE is huge and mess with other things, fortunately not the same as my mod, so yeah, Vanilla Tweaks is totally compatible with Stardew Valley Expanded :)
But I have to ask would it conflict with any of these mods I have in use now:

hi im a tad bit confused about the new version post, as when i installed the other versions, they didn't include the base game sprites. do i install all the editions, or just one of the editions?
Eagerly awaiting the update - I'm refreshing my modlist for a new playthrough now that 1.6 has dropped and this went right back on the list! Excited to see the new stuff ^^
Hi mrtaiyou, I'm a big fan of your mod and I was wondering if you would consider including a less saturated version (recolor) made by me (when the update comes out), and attaching it to the original mod as an optional file. I think it would be a great option for those who prefer a more discreet look and it would also make it easier for people to recolor the mod to their liking. Oiê :). Sinto muito em dizer mas não vou poder colocar a sua edit no mod porque a atualização vai mudar praticamente tudo da versão atual :/. Teria sido melhor se você tivesse vindo atrás desse tipo de informação antes de começar a fazer o recolor. Vou considerar que você não sabia da atualização e muito menos viu a postagem que eu fiz uns meses atrás (até aí compreensível, eu deveria ter divulgado melhor). Mas fico feliz pela iniciativa. Uma versão dessaturada vai ser feita por mim mesmo assim que eu terminar de atualizar a base do mod, que tá quase pronta, então você não precisa se preocupar com esse aspecto. É algo que eu já vinha prometendo há muito tempo. Ainda assim, agradeço.
Ah sim, eu não havia começado... iria fazer após a att (eu acompanhei e to animado para a att, venho vendo seus posts aqui atualizando) eu tenho e uso uma versão do seu mod de 2022 com recolor para uso próprio (fiz ano passado), e pensei que seria legal levar a publico uma versão, mas fico feliz que ja vira incrementado nesta atualização.
