    Huhu, I tried it again after a few tries and around and found that the mod only works in English but not in any other language, what could that be? Or is there a fix from you?

      Hi! Sorry for the late reply I've had some life stuff happen that required my full attention.

      Unfortunately I am not skilled at creating translations. It's a type of coding I just really suck at. (I suck at all coding tbh) So if anyone ever wants to translate some of my mods into other languages I am always open to that! Just reach out to me on discord or through the PM on Nexus!

      I'm glad you're enjoying it! I have no experience with doing translations myself but I'd be willing to take a crack at it. I would need a few examples of how to do it in content patcher. Do you know any content patcher mods that have a working translation element (e.g. an "i18n" folder) because I have noticed that folder before but don't remember which mod it was in and I can't find one to look at.

    Your mod causes a bit of a weird thing when you pick up Magic Ink during the quest: Screenshot of the text. Also I would love if changing descriptions was optional.

      Oooh, neat! The whole name is being put into that text. I'll see about any possible work arounds but I imagine that there's nothing I can do about that... With a little thought it does kind of make sense because in order to change the tooltips so that they include a description I changed the name of the item.

      As for changing descriptions there is a config to change them. But do you mean you'd like to turn them off completely and have just the animations?

      EDIT: I think I have found a way to fix it. In looking into it I also found that the Dark Talisman and one of the other wallet items will have a similar issue. Looking into which item it is because it doesn't say and will solidify a way to fix it later today. Thank you for bringing this to my attention I appreciate the time you took to point out the bug!

      No problem, I'm on a quest to completely eradicate every mention of Wizard from the game and change it to Witch so that "Wizard's Tower" caught my attention pretty strongly hah

      Oh interesting I actually have a mod coming out soon that changes every male character to female that changes the wizard to a sorceress (because there is already a witch in the game and I didn't want to confuse the two). I've got every instance of wizard marked and replaced, I would be happy to show you where they all are. Funny enough I decided to leave Wizard's Tower as is because that's what it says on the wiki and I want new players to be able to search for stuff on the wiki so I left all the building names alone. My head cannon is that the name of the building is due to the character's father opening the shop long ago. Like Gus's is still Gus's and Clint's is still Clint's. But the lovely thing about modding is that we can all have it just how we like! So to each their own, horses to courses as a wise man once said.

      I have a working version 1.0.1 uploaded now that allows turning the descriptions back to vanilla if you so choose and also I fixed the bits where it shows the full description in the name. Will update that shortly but I do not have a save where I don't have all the wallet items so I can't be 100% sure it will work, the code is sound, I don't foresee any issues, but you never know....

      I would be happy to show you how to switch it from Wizard's tower to Witch's tower in my mod for your personal use if you wish. Let me know!

      Thanks for the update!

      For me "The Witch of the Tower" sounded better. Who said that a witch couldn't marry another witch hah. I already have a pretty extensive mod out - Romanceable Rasmodia, so as far as vanilla goes I think I've got that covered hah. Unless by some chance you found a way to alter a message that appears when the game asks if you want a baby and it shows the characters name and not display name.

      Can't wait to see the mod though, so it's gonna be something like Invatorzen's Dialogue Changes but for everyone?

      I did most of the art (found a few mods that replaced a character with great art that I got permission to incorporate) but I am partnering with xIXApollyonXIx who made Ultimate Villager Manager to allow changing names and dialogue of literally every single character, no matter how big or small. Then I did a bit of editing to lock it in and fixed a few minor characters like the dart man is now dart woman. It will replace every single character with a female version and edits every single character to my liking. Configurable to remove some of the characters in case they are not liked by everyone or someone wants to use another mod to replace say Leah, that is doable.

      It should be coming out this week it is very close to being done. I am just touching things up and testing to make sure it all works. There is over 5000 lines of code and 100's of images to edit so it has been a long process...

      What do you mean by character name vs display name? We used dynamic tokens so that it replaced instances of the name in dialogue but left the characters name on the back end the same. Taking a look at the code in Ultimate Villager Manager could be helpful! ApollyOn did some amazing work!

      Never heard about Ultimate Villager Manager, but damn... that's a massive mod, nice. Might be useful. 

      Character name is how he is called in game files, like for example when someone says something in events the command is always "Wizard", but because of NPCDisposition's field "display name" we see their name as something else. UVM does the same. But as far as I know when the game asks you about a new kid it uses "name" not "display name" so it might be impossible to change.

      Also look out for gender dependent things flower dance/wedding sprite usage.

      It would be a spoiler kind of right? I decided not to include it because it could make some people mad. Also nexus really doesn't like people including animated gifs unless absolutely necessary.

      They are slightly slower in game even so that's probably even better!

      Check out my other animated inventory mod CP - Animated Inventory it has a similarly slow but present animation by making them stay fairly stationary but still move occasionally.
