Hi, would it be possible to make it where you can change the layout through the Generic Mod Config Menu? It would make it easier for those of us who use Stardrop. With stardrop you take the zip file and the program opens it for you, but you can't configure it that way because you can't open the separate files. If the configuration could be done through the GMCM that would make it more streamlined.
First, thanks for pointing out Stardrop -- the multiple profiles looks like it'll be huge. As I was looking for more "how to use" info for Stardrop, I came across the below video tutorial (also at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61O59SFVuGw), which shows how to get to the text config files and how to make those be per-profile, without having to leave Stardrop to do it.
That doesn't help in this case, sad to say, as there is no config.json to edit. However, you can still go into the mod folders directly to edit the content.json file with your plain text editor of choice, as the description said.
I agree that GMCM integration would be great! I think any mod with configurable tweaks can very much benefit from using GMCM. That doesn't make me any less appreciative of the work mod authors have already put in to share their enjoyment of the game with us.
I'm not sure if I'm quite understanding your question, but if you're asking if I can make versions without the sprinkler tiles then I can probably do that at some point. No promises on when, though.
To pick which layout you would like to use, open the content.json file with a text editor and change the number in the line "FromFile": "assets/Greenhouse1.tmx" to the number of the layout. For example, to use Greenhouse3, change that line to "FromFile": "assets/Greenhouse3.tmx"
Ive been following the FAQ advice to edit the other mod files and it doesnt seem to be working. I had a greenhouse that had some extra tree spots, then adding this mod got rid of that. So I went to the SVE folder, but cant find "grandpas farm" folder anywhere. The best I can do is SVE where I see the content and config files. IF2R file was easy to locate and change, but it doesnt seem to fix my problem. I have the very default greenhouse now. any ideas?
The "Grandpa's Farm" folder is in the "Mods" folder, separate from the SVE folder. See if you can find that and it should be straightforward from there :)
