About this mod

Lets you change the number of days in a month and number of months in a season.

This mod provides two ways of changing the length of a season:

  • Changing the number of days in a month
  • Changing the number of months in a season

Changing the number of days in a month changes the calendar, so if you set a month to have 56 days, you will get two full calendar pages. Birthdays, festivals, and weddings on days greater than day 28 should be recognized and shown on the correct page.

Changing the number of months in a season means months will be repeated. As a result, festivals, birthdays, events, etc. will all be repeated each month of the season.

The two methods can be combined to allow for longer months (up to 999 days per month) and multiple months per season (no upper limit).

By default, neither option is set - to make use of this mod, you have to change the config.  To change the config you can either use Generic Mod Config Menu or edit the config.json file created after running the game with this mod installed.

There is also an option to extend the berry seasons for spring and fall according to the number of days per season. Multiple months per season will still have individual berry seasons.

It should go without saying that this mod has the potential to cause all sorts of unexpected things to happen. Please backup your save if you are concerned about such things.

Limitations

  • Months always start on Monday, regardless of which day of the week the last month ended on.
  • Calendar pages will only show up to the end of the current month, even if it doesn't fill the current calendar page.
  • The load game menu does not show the current month of the season.
