Q: How do I access the configs?
A: Please download GMCM and access the configs through the gear icon on the title screen at the bottom left or the button "mod options" at the very bottom of the in game options screen as "Romanceable Rasmodius Redux Revamp". If you are unable to find then it's likely the mod was not installed properly. Please make sure all required mods are installed correctly via looking at the smapi log.

Q: I'm getting double events???
A: Please remove Romanceable Rasmodius SVE. It is not required for RRRR and is the cause of these issues. It will also completely break hidden love interest mode and potentially break a ton more things so you *must* uninstall it if you intend to play RRRR.

Q: The game crashes at the end of the birthday event/fall event where I sleep over at Magnus' tower!
A:
This is caused by not having a beach sprite for your wizard asset set, or having two asset sets that cancel each other out. In the case of two sets cancelling each other out, please uninstall one. In the case the pack you use doesn't have a beach sprite OR you don't know, please go into the configs and turn "Use Beach Sprites" OFF. That should resolve the issue.

This issue has largely been resolved post 1.6, but is still included for niche instances.

Q: Help! I can't romance Magnus anymore/ He doesn't have the single label anymore!?
A:
If you are playing with hidden love interest mode on, that is normal and the intended outcome. If  you're not sure what that is, please check the section on it in the main description.  If you are not playing with it on, or you have completed the Ultimatum event, aren't in multiplayer and still can't date him after going to sleep for the day, then please go to the bugs section and file a report. If you are in multiplayer, please check the multiplayer section.

Q: How specifically will toggling off hidden love interest mode break the mode?
A: The trigger for hidden love interest mode centre around the 9 heart event where Magnus confesses his feelings to you in the secret woods. Depending on whether the toggle is on or off, you get different versions of the event. If you saw the non-hidden love interest mode version of the event, it is impossible to trigger the "unofficial dating" status so you'll have to wait until you unlock him as an actual love interest by unlocking the nexus before you can date him. This is the only way to REALLY break the mode. At other times, if you toggle it off, and then change your heart points with him in any way (gift, talking, finishing a quest, hitting him with slingshot etc), it will reset to 8 hearts if you are above 8 hearts. You must manually gift him back to 10 hearts. This is just how the game works.

Q: I want the best experience but I don't want to play hidden love interest mode.
A: I completely understand! You will miss some exclusive context and events due to the way the toggle works. Simply turn Hidden Love Interest Mode Off and then follow my recommended play timeline for when to get married. This means that you should start dating the Wizard once he hits 8 hearts and then keep dating him until you complete Y1. Then marry him during spring of Y2.

Q: I want to play with a multiple spouse mod.
A: Marrying someone else before Magnus will completely break hidden love interest mode (because he will not accept an affair). If you insist on doing this, you must turn it off, you monster (Those of you who just want to have a roommate are chill, but the above still applies.)

In all seriousness, Magnus is an intensely monogamous person (he has only found two people in 1000 years who he was willing to be in a real romantic relationship with and one of them is you). The minute you mention bringing a 3rd person into the relationship would spell the end of the relationship in all instances if we're being true to his character. That is not within the scope of the mod so you can forcefully impose this on him, but be aware it will be extremely immersion breaking and there is a very high chance you will feel like a horrible person.

Important: If you have more than one spouse (including roommates), the game will have issues realizing you're married to Magnus on random days. This will mean that post-marriage events do not trigger correctly as expected. There is no way to fix this outside of removing the other spouse.

Q: What if I marry Magnus first and then marry someone else?
A: Then you can play through hidden love interest mode as normal. That does not stop you from being a horrible person, however. /Joking (but am I really?). Just imagine me bonking you across space and time. (Once again, roommate havers are exempt from bonking, but it's going to get real weird when you and Magnus are getting frisky and the dwarf is standing around the corner.) Please check the answer above for the issue with multiple spouses.

Dating somehow else should not impact anything outside of making you feel bad, though.

Q: I have hidden love interest mode on but Magnus has the single label? (And it is the fall fair/flower dance)
A: That is 1000% intentional. This is so Welwick's predictions are correct and you can dance with Magnus.

Q: I won't be able to finish the community centre by the end of Y1. Can I still play with Hidden Love Interest Mode on?
A: Yes. The mod has been reworked on the back end to allow for you to marry him whenever you like and events will still be properly paced out. It is still recommended to have children during the first year of marriage, however. If you drag it out into Y3, however, you will trigger the SVE versions of the Caroline, Pierre, and Abby storyline if you have 10 hearts with Caroline instead of the RRRR version of them, which is not ideal.

Q: When does he visit the night market?
A: On his birthday, winter 17th.

Q: How do I trigger "the Truth" event?
A: Here is a detailed break down:
1. Be playing on hidden love interest mode
2. Be unofficially dating Magnus.
3. Go to the Night Market with him (as in physically go there, and he will also walk there on his own)
4. Talk to him at every new location he stands at. He will have new dialogue/location. The important one is when he's facing the green boat at the dock. You should get a dialogue choice to ask him why he's acting odd. PIck it at least once. Continue the night as you will.  (He will move at 7pm, and then 8pm)
5. Go to the tower the next day.
If you do all that, the event should trigger.

You MUST have gotten the dialogue choice for it to count. If you have not, it will not trigger the event.

Q: I broke up with Magnus/ I rejected Magnus' confession. Can I date him again/ Can I still date him?
A: If this were a standalone game and completely up to me, the answer would be no, but since this is a mod, you can date him again if you've unlocked him as a true love interest (check the hidden love interest mode sections), or turn off hidden love interest mode. Afterwards, you can gift him a bouquet like normal.

Q: I can't find him at the Winter feast?
A: He only attends while married. Think about it, what reason would he have to celebrate Christmas with people who he doesn't even know the name of that are also scared of him?

Q: How do I unlock the wine event?
A: After getting married to Magnus, visit him at the tower on a Thursday where he is gardening OUTDOORS (Random, Spring -> Fall only. After 12:20pm, but before he starts walking home). Speak with him and he'll mention doing something with his excess crops and that he'll probably try making some wine.

After you've been married for at least 1 year, he will automatically gift you wine on the 14th of the season (NOT SPRING). Gift him the wine while at home in the evening to see the wine event.

Q: When I do a patch reload, I get these errors?


A: That's completely normal and just the game complaining you don't have kids. Please ignore them.

Q: I got the event version of the Jello-ish Wizard like you suggested. How do I change his hair and clothing?
A: Please check that mod's page for unlock specifics, but in a broad sense, the event edition of the mod focuses more on Magnus' change in clothing/hair as a visual indicator of character development than just looking nice. Every unlock marks a milestone in his growing self confidence so it's important they're spaced out like they are. Because of this, he will stay in his default clothing/hairstyle until the specific events are unlocked after marriage. Spawning in the items used to trigger the mechanic before seeing the unlock events does nothing.

If you really don't care about the content or the impact of seeing him in his new outfits/hair for the first time, then go ahead and get the config version until you meet the requirements for the event edition's unlock. Afterwards, simply delete the config version and switch with the event version.
Note: It is important you DELETE the config version if you want to switch to the event (and vice versa), otherwise there will be issues.

Q: How do I trigger the year 4 (???) mature events?
A:
You need to meet the SVE requirements. If you've gotten the jukebox unlock for SVE's trailer theme, then you meet them. To trigger the actual events, please go to the forest map during the day between the 5th and 25th of spring on year 4 or any spring after that.

Q: I can't trigger the last event of the ??? mature events! (Magnus' Solution)

he wakes you up in the morning and takes you to the tower and tries to forcefully break the seal on you only to get stopped by you and convinced to just let it go because there's no good solution for it.
Afterwards he reverts back to his usual, largely happy self.

If you're SURE you can't trigger it, please try the patch reload situation in the pinned comment. If you are SURE you didn't trigger it, but he's happy again, please submit a patch summary for me in the comments section.

Multiplayer and Saves

Q: Will this mod work in mutliplayer?
A: Technically, yes, but you will have to do a bit of work and there will be bugs. Multiplayer really doesn't like it when NPCs switch dispositions mid-game based on conditions. To have a 100% hassle-free experience, all players should have Hidden love interest mode OFF.

If you wish to play with it on, all players should have RRRR installed, and have Hidden Love Interest mode ON then play as normal until you hit the transition between unofficially dating and officially dating. Once Magnus gives you his ultimatum, all players in game must either also fulfill the requirements to unlock him as a love interest OR turn hidden love interest mode OFF. After that is done, the person playing the mod will be able to gift Magnus the bouquet to continue.

While that is the biggest issue, there are also small ones like schedule changes, and farmhouse events being somewhat buggy in MP. I've attempted to fix the farmhouse issue, but it's hard to say how much has actually been fixed without causing other problems (This is due to non-host players in MP having their farmhouse be technically the "cabin" location, which breaks switchEvent commands).

I have no idea how other events (especially things like child events) will impact things, so I suggest you please move your playthrough to singleplayer for a guaranteed experience.

Q: Do I need to start a new save to play through this mod?
A:
Ideally, yes. This mod is designed to be played through from roughly when you meet the Wizard around day 6 spring Y1 and has content reaching to roughly the end of Y4. Installing this mod in an existing playthrough will likely break the majority of non-marriage dating events depending on how far you have progressed in his heart events (the most important being 9 heart from RomRas SVE). If you're alright with that, then I would suggest going in with Hidden Love Interest Mode Off so the experience is similar to a normal stardew love interest.

There is nothing much I can do if you've already seen Magnus' heart events (especially 9 heart), but you can see the specific dialogue if you date(or unofficially date) him through the entire year before marrying him the next spring. The majority of the important dialogue is found in late Fall and Winter so take that into account.

If you've already unlocked the Nexus in your playthough, hidden love interest mode will be rendered completely null so just proceed with normal dating like usual.

If you are already married to Magnus from RomRas or SVE, you can easily substitute this mod in, but there will be references to things you haven't seen so it probably won't make complete sense. You may end up seeing late versions of dates if you have been married to Magnus for more than 2 years in game. Please make sure to turn Hidden Love Interest Mode is Off if you haven't unlocked the Nexus in SVE yet.

Q: Can I install this mod mid-playthrough?
A: Please read my answer about the new playthrough situation. If you haven't gotten those events or the equivalent of those events, it should be fine. That said, this mod was designed for you to start your relationship (official or unofficial) in the spring and summer, play through the entire year dating/unofficially dating, and then marry him the following year in spring. I highly suggest you still follow this general timing (be it with time travelling or whatever) for the best experience. Winter and Fall hold a lot of important set dialogue that doesn't really make sense for him to share without you haven't already established your position in his life as someone who's here to stay.

Q: Can I substitute X mod with this one?
A:
If you are substituting it with Parrot's RomRas SVE version of the mod, the transition will be largely seamless. If you are substituting any other romance mod, including the original non-SVE RomRas or just vanilla SVE, be prepared to encounter bugs like seeing all the pre-marriage heart events despite being married. There are a few SVE events codes I had to fiddle with for better compatibility so you may end up seeing those events again too (like the end of Magic ink).

Unless you are very early in your relationship with Magnus (pre 9-heart event), expect the hidden love interest mode to unreachable. In this case, I would suggest toggling it off and proceed with my recommended timeline in the description but while officially dating him with the ingame mechanics (bouquet etc). If you are already married, but have not unlocked the Nexus, please turn Hidden Love Interest Mode OFF.

Please uninstall RomRas SVE if you want to switch or the mods may interact in unexpected ways.

Q: Do I need to have Date Night installed to play the Post-Marriage dates?
A: While RRRR references the code of Date Night (with permission), having the mod installed will actually cause problems. Please uninstall Date Night if you plan on playing RRRR.

Q: Do I have to use SVE to run this mod?
A:
Yes. This mod was created with SVE locations, characters, events, items, and lore in mind. It will not work without SVE and there is no easy way to convert it to work without SVE. I've done my best to address the events that directly relate to SVE and adapted them more according to my personal tastes plus what I think fits for RRRR's version of Magnus. If you were slightly put off by some aspects of the Wizard as a bachelor in SVE, I suggest you still give this a try since it's very different. That said, RRRR builds off SVE so if your dislike of SVE is due to how it drifts away from the small town farmer vibe, this will not help you.

Sprites and Portraits

Q: Is this compatible with X custom portrait set?
A:
With the addition of the new config toggle, it is now possible to use 7 and 12 expression portraits, but I still wouldn't consider it an ideal experience. Using my provided/fully adapted portraits will always be a better experience. That will not change.

I already mentioned this in the description, but I use a custom expanded portrait set that I created myself based off the portrait set I use (which is Gigi's). I have finally completed my vanilla-ish portraits which you can get here: Jello's Vanilla-ish Wizard Portraits.

Please contact the original creator of your portrait set to expand their portrait sheet according to the information I provide in the compatibility section of the main mod description. If you would like to attempt to do so yourself, please go to the other article where I give an explanation and guide on how to do so. The community has also started submitting their portrait/asset sets that are compatible with RRRR which you can find compiled into a list here: Compatible Portrait and Sprite Mods

Let me emphasize that if you want the most ACCURATE and NUANCED expressions, you must use my assets. Everyone's artwork is lovely, but I find the majority of sets somewhat lacking in conveying the nuances of his character, especially during his darkest moments. This will also be the design used in my standalone game so if you wish to move forward with this, I suggest you get my assets.

Q: Is this compatible with X custom sprite set?
A:
Similar to portraits, my sprites have a slightly expanded frame set for specific events. Please check the same guide as to how to adapt your sprites. This should be much easier to adapt than the portrait sets. If you do not adapt the sprites, expect blanks or strange placeholders to appear in some instances. To make sure your sprites are used instead of the default ones, open the config options (in game or in a text reader) and change the Sprite option to "custom". If you are not using beach sprites or don't have beach sprites, turn Use Beach Sprites to "false" to prevent errors during event calls. The community has also started submitting their portrait/asset sets that are compatible with RRRR which you can find compiled into a list here: Compatible Portrait and Sprite Mods

Q: Why don't the portraits have a toggle like the sprites?
A:
My portraits use Portraiture which means there is no native overwriting of portraits. As long as you don't install portraiture or cycle to use yours, it should be fine. I will likely offer specific downloads that will act like patches for any new portrait sets I offer. If you are using my vanilla-ish portrait set, that is its own mod, so just install or uninstall it as you please.

Q: Do you mind if I make an edit/redraw of your portraits/sprites?

As long as you credit me, I don't mind. If you are only making an edit though, I would prefer it if you were not earning DP off it. Redraws/personal edits are free game.

Mod Contents
Q: Why are there so many specifics with this mod?
A: There are two answers to that question:
1. This was originally a personal mod so it didn't really make sense to make content that didn't apply to me since I was supposed to be the sole person to play it! There is just some content I don't like making so I won't make it (mostly where you're being mean to my boi).
2. This mod is very detailed and expansive. As a result, adding compatibility and other similar features is both time consuming and difficult to test due to sheer scale and because I had to implement some very creative methods to get things to work. It would also not make sense for me to half-ass events/disregard lore/make Magnus act out of character when everything else pays so much attention to it.

Q: Can you be more specific about how 'spicy', aka sexually suggestive the mod actually is?
A: This largely depends on whether or not you have the spicier content setting toggled on.
If you have the toggle on:
  • There will be suggestive dialogue suggesting a healthy intimate life between the farmer and Magnus
  • There will be dialogue/event direction that suggest sexual activities are currently ongoing
  • There will be dialogue/event direction/descriptions that suggest or detail intimate actions going on
  • Dialogue options/event options that direct to more detailed descriptions of intimate actions will be available
  • There are NO EXPLICIT SEXUAL ACTS DEPICTED OR DESCRIBED.
  • Think M 17+ rather than R 18+
If you have the toggle off:
  • There will be suggestive dialogue suggesting a health intimate life between the farmer and Magnus
  • Scenes will often fade to black before any depictions of intimate acts occur, but the implication that it probably happened is still there.
  • Certain more detailed/descriptive scenes/content is outright disabled.
  • Think PG 15+

Q: When you say "detailed" and "expansive", how expansive do you mean?
A:
Here are some fun statistics I can share as of version 1.8.3:

For reference: The Fellowship of the Ring – 187,790 words. The Two Towers – 156,198 words. The Return of the King – 137,115 words. The entire Lord of the Rings series (including The Hobbit) – 576,459 words.

Yeah, that's right. This purple magic man fanfiction is around half the size of the ENTIRE lord of the rings novels.

Q: How are pronouns handled in the mod?
A:
Due to RRRR's original nature as a personal project, it was originally written with a female player in mind. The game actually has a built in gendered line system where it automatically picks the line based on your farmer's gender so I opted to turn the male farmer lines to avoid mentioning gender period. Basically, if you would like to be referred to by female pronouns, please play a farmer farmer. If not, please play a male farmer. I may eventually offer true pronoun freedom with a toggle, but since there isn't a huge demand for it, it doesn't make sense to put in that much effort considering the size of the mod. Keep in mind you can freely change your gender at the shrine of illusions after unlocking it. Please keep that in mind to tailor your own experience.

Q: ...So, the Abigail and Caroline stuff...?
A:
RRRR follows SVE's canon on those events, but they have been massively expanded and rewritten so they are resolved more neatly on the Wizard's side with the player and to suit my personal taste. I personally found it very annoying how you never talk about these issues until everything blew up. Now you do. A lot.

That has been removed because it does not fit the Wizard's personality in RRRR.

Q: Can you add a toggle to remove the ex-wife content and Caroline content like RomRas SVE?
A: No. I consider both of those events critical to the context of RRRR's story and who Magnus is as a person.

Q: Will you be adding compatibility for Lunna?
A: Not at the moment. I personally do not have any interest in that mod.

Q: Will you be adding compatibility for Alecto?
A: Currently the answer is no. Based off what I heard, the character is too far removed from where I took her characterization in RRRR. It flat out would not make sense without a significant amount of rewriting. I may one day put more focus on the resolving the plot thread that is Magnus' ex-wife, but I currently have no plans to do so right now.

Q: Will you be adding compatibility for Juna?
A: No. He is characterized extremely, EXTREMELY differently and does not make sense for her backstory.

Q: How different is this from Romanceable Rasmodius' Magnus?

A: RRRR by default includes all the integrated content from RomRas SVE which combines the RomRas content with a large majority of the SVE wizard content. The characterization of the Wizard falls far more in line with RomRas, but in RRRR, he becomes increasingly open with the farmer about his thoughts, motivations, and feelings as the relationship develops. The spirit of the character is still largely the same, however. Some rarely seen dialogue (think like winter 2 heart for example) has been edited because they don't really fit with the rest of the established content. You probably won't see it, but I adjusted them anyway.

Q: How different is this from SVE's Magnus?
A:
Very different. SVE's Magnus is a lot more put together of a person in his day to day life and far more closed off emotionally even after marriage. RRRR is based off RomRas so the characterization is far closer to RomRas than SVE. I personally do not really like SVE's Magnus due to, what I suspect, are simply some oversights since SVE is such a big mod (Think end of magic ink response, lack of accounting for dating status). In general, I find RomRas' kind of a disaster of a human far more charming. This is more personal preference than anything.

Q: Will you add compatibility/content for X mod?
A:
It kind of depends on what the mod is. I will always play through a mod in its entirety before I go to the extra effort to add content for something. My time is very limited so if I do, it will likely because I hit a bout of mania or I really felt inspired/liked the mod in question. For character mods, you will have to ask the original creator. If you have a suggestion, please leave it in the comments. Also make sure to take a look in the coming tentatively section in the main description to make sure I'm not already planning it. I am open to collaborating or writing dialogue for Magnus in other mods though. Please reach out to me on discord (I'm on the official discord), or via here on the Nexus.

Q: I want to use my farmhouse mod. What do I need to keep in mind?
A:

As of 1.6, farmhouse mods are officially broken if upgraded to the 2nd tier (nursery) or above. I may re-add compatibility if they are fixed and there's enough demand..

I have adjusted the majority of events to be compatible with the majority of alternative house layout mods. There are probably a few tiny bits and bobs I've missed around the place, but I will get to them eventually. That said, the cooking date event requires manual compat. patches and will still be in awkward places unless you are using one of the house mods specified on this list: Compatible House Mods Please reference it when you are deciding which house mod to use, if at all.


Update: Some functionality has been restored, but expect problems.

Q: I want to replay events! How do I do it?

Start a new save. /j

In all seriousness, RRRR is a very complicated and big mod so even with mods like Memory Cave, it's impossible to repeat events (not to mention a lot of events have aspects that can only be experienced once per save). As a result, the best way to see the events again is literally to start a new save.

Children
Q: Do I have to have children to enjoy this mod?
A: No! Having kids is not mandatory for the story, but I do consider it a better experience due the desire to have children being intrinsic to Magnus dating all the way back from the first editions of RomRas. It's likely that I missed some dialogue somewhere referencing kids or having children. Please report it to me if you notice it! I will likely upload a patch that fixes those lines.

If you do have 1 child, I assume you will have both eventually. Most children-referencing dialogue is flagged for 2 children so if you'd like to see that, please have 2. This is particularly important for triggering a few events in Y3.

Specifically, this is about the Caroline mature event and Pierre mature event from SVE. I have adjusted it so you either need to have NO children or BOTH children to see it. Adopted children don't matter in this particular instance.

A: Biological and Adopted children have different exclusive events and features. Whether children are adopted or biological is directly based on internal game flags (Whether or not the game labels the player as "pregnant".) The simplest way to trigger this is to be female in game (in which you will have biological children). Biological children feature a "pregnancy" period with special dialogue, gifts and six exclusive events (Pregnancy discovery x2, Birth x2, Caroline talks x2). Adopted children only have six exclusive events (Adoption discussion x2, Adoption progress x2, Adoption pick up x2). While biological children have slightly more content, I think both lines are fairly interesting and offer different perspectives and information. As long as you have had two children with Magnus, he will reference them in dialogue. It does not matter whether or not they're adopted or biological. Child events will trigger as long as you have children. It does not matter if you had them from another relationship or with Magnus.

Q: Can I have one adopted child and one biological child?
A:
This is no longer possible do to a slight reworking of the mod to allow for male farmers to go through pregnancy (you will still have to the gender swapping hijinx). Once you start on the adoption or biological children path, you must stay on it. Please read the section "I want to have biological kids, but I want to play the male farmer/have gender neutral pronouns" for more details. Simply invert the genders if you'd like to play a female partner, but want to go through adoption instead.

Q: Can I have more than two kids?
A:
Technically yes (assuming you have the mod for that), but birth events are only linked to the first two children the player has with Magnus, and the child events will only trigger for the first two existing children. There is no way to really code around this, sadly.

A: If you insist on having biological kids, you must switch your gender to female via the shrine of illusions and then switch back to male after getting pregnant (I suggest you use the planned parenthood mod to manually trigger it). I've done some limited testing and it seems to work 100% as intended. As of right now, the pregnancy dialogue actually has gender neutral variations, but you must switch back to male while being pregnant to see these gender neutral lines and then switch back to female to get pregnant with child 2. You do not need to stay female to maintain the pregnancy.

Q: Can I make my mod compatible with RRRR/ Can I use RRRR characters in cameos?
A:
That is entirely up to you. I am not very protective of my work in the sense of preventing people from iterating off of it, but I will also not avow any mod I did not personally make or explicitly have a hand in making compat for as "canon". I am very particular about characterization and lore nuggets, so it takes a significant amount of work to satisfy my inner critic. That said, don't take this as me saying don't make fanwork, or that you NEED to satisfy me to justify your work's existence.

My philosophy is that we are all making fanfics/fan content of an existing piece of work, thus any fan content of the fan content is equally as open to doing whatever the hell they like. As such, you do not need to ask me permission if you want to alter events/canon/characters/include cameos/etc specifically in your mod. Just know that while I may not approve of (or I may potentially outright dislike) the contents of said content specifically, I will always approve of the content existing (unless you are actively hurting people with said content). This includes the creation of NSFW content (just don't post it anywhere inappropriate).

I just ask you don't wave work I don't particularly like in front of me too often (I will let you know if I'd prefer not to see it.), otherwise it's completely cool.

Q: Can I monetize fanwork/fan content of RRRR?
A:
If you are simply asking for donations for your available free content, sure. If you are selling merch of your own artwork that is related to RRRR, sure. If you are making a song/original comic/etc, no problem. If you've paywalled your personally-created fan content such as fanfics, fanart, etc, I don't really have a huge issue with it. Where I draw the line is if your project is compromises significant portions of my work and the work of everyone else who has contributed to this mod in some way (Flashshifter, Parrot, WerewolfMaster, Haywrites, Chaekel etc) is somehow price-gated or repurposed for something else.

Eg:
If you make a pin of my sprite work to sell, that is not okay.
If you redraw my design for Magnus and make that a pin to sell, that's fine.

If you copy text out of RRRR and reformat/slightly edit it into something else before putting that content behind a price gate, that's not okay.
If you take a fanfiction commission to write something based on the content of RRRR, that's fine.

Standalone Game/Future of the Mod
Q: What's happening with the mod? Are you going to still update it?
A:
As of the release of 1.6, I will no longer be developing content for the mod (but I will be maintaining it code wise and fix errors). I shall be instead directing my time and effort into turning RRRR into a full-fledged game. The mod will remain up, however.

Q: How different would this hypothetical standalone game be from the mod?
A: I will be porting the majority if not all of the contents over. Due to the nature of the mod, characters and names will have to naturally be changed to avoid copyright infringement, but the difference should be not too big outside of the scope of content and specifics like gameplay. Any content that I did not create will obviously have to be entirely removed/majorly altered/, and/or replaced.

I'm a single person who needs to work to support my household so progress will understandably be slow. I usually focus more on development starting around mid-spring -> mid fall. Honestly, I don't think it'll be done any time soon, so don't hold your breath.

Q: Why are you trying to make a game instead of sticking to modding?
A:
Stardew is a game that isn't built for what I want to accomplish so I've had to twist and strain the system significantly to make it work. In the process, a lot of usually hard to notice bugs have a far bigger impact on the experience than what is typically the case with a stardew playthrough. After one too many "sorry, that's stardew bug, I can't fix it", I decided it would be more productive to debug my own game than to be unable to debug stardew. This also gives me a lot more room to actually implement things that are impossible with stardew as a framework.

    help me please. I can't figure out if I have the mod installed correctly. Everyone writes that the mod is cool and diverse. But I've been playing for several days now and I can't figure out why I have such monotony. I went to the wizard every day when we were already in an "unofficial relationship", but I had nothing but monotonous dialogues. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I really want to see some spice and interesting dialogues🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

    I am here to ask like... when/where is that event triggered? I can see in the FAQ above it mentions Year 3 
    I am not having kids in this playthrough,  And while it says you changed it to also trigger if you have no kids-- I am still just worried about missing the event since it used to be/otherwise is child dependent 

    And before you say it-- Yes I have tried to comb through the "Full Event List" on the main page, many times, to find it.
    Unfortunately I have Dyslexia, and the formatting of that list with no spaces between each bullet make it incredibly hard to decipher and has been giving me physical headache every time I try, sorry.

    I didn't find a place to ask a question, so I'll ask it here. Could Magnus be jealous? At least, other marriage candidates have such mechanics (if you give gifts to bachelors/bachelorettes of their gender)
