Sorry I haven't looked at this in like 6 years.

This was for a beta version called "Upbeat Giraffe", not retail versions.

Wouldn't mind an updated version of this mod for 1.0

It doesn't work. I followed the instructions, renamed the .shipworld file and everything and it didn't work. I think your instructions are outdated.
EDIT: I also wen't as far as to try the NMM and manual version and they both don't work.

This mod is working now, but it has a bug with the first quest.

Once you activate tutorial 1 with Buildable Custom Ship enabled, save and quit your game, then disable the mod to advance the quest, once that is done save and quit again to re-enable the mod so you get all the parts.

I also noticed that you don't get the white wall blocks (the same blocks as the hull) in the flood of parts when completing the quest.

This mod is currently out of date but for future reference. (if by steam) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\giraffe_storage\player Then look after .player on the right side and you will hit ".shipworld". Both will be abriviated to ".play..." and ".ship..." as the names can't fit into the screen until you hover with the mouse over them. Each of your players that you have will have a code strain. I.e. 65ba149e95c8f0f8e9f17c0d45c0e7c3 then you will see either ".metadata" ".player" or ".shipworld". One final note, The game automatically backs up your files. But you may wanna backup the backups. After seeing a file of any sort with this, after it will be ".bak[#]" # indicating either 1, 2, 3, so on. If you are modifying specific players. Delete the backups/move them to a dock folder. Then you can move and replace them at will. have fun
