I just got this mod, and the crafting recipe for the copper chest seems to be wanting a item that doesn't exist called Perfectly Generic Item, rather then the wooden planks.
Chest recipes require 'perfectly generic item' which is only really acquired by spawning an item that does not exist, the mod recipes have your name in it, which might be the cause.
E.g gold chest requires gold bars and 'perfectly generic item' instead of gold bar and silver chest as you named your silver chest as 'raxicax_silverchest'
I used the copper chest just fine but when we upgraded to the iron chest I get a 32 slot chest but as I put things into it I get what looks like duplicates a few spaces over in the chest. I think this mod has bugs... ;(
small bug report but when using this mod i couldnt start a new character as the recipe for the crafting bench did not show up so i couldnt do anything
the recipe for the chests still showed up in the 3d printer for 1 pixel and in older character files that had already done the quest but i couldnt start a new character
I haven't tried, but other players may need to install the mod aswell, to see the chests or similar.. I've heard most mods work online, but may not be visible for others (Servers don't have any protection yet)

I've uploaded a new BetterStorage v1.0.3 which should remove the Generic Item.
