So I started a Mod Showcase thing and i saw your mod and instantly had to review it. I think its really cool http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMpwaa9B92I&feature=youtu.be Hopefully you dont mind! I gave credit to you in the description and linked people to this post
I learned a lot from this mod too! I read through all the files and actually changed around the recipes, gave the table racial descriptions, added a recipe to turn refined wood back into raw, and made my own images for the crafting table. This mod helped me a ton!
In Alchemy 1.1, the recipes folder seems to have been misnamed as 'recipies'. This doesn't seem to cause a problem for some strange reason.
As for my opinion on this, I love the idea (I use Equivalent Exchange 3 all the time in minecraft) though I think you may want to reduce the scaling on the alchemy a bit by having a flat 5 bars = 1 higher bar.
The main reason I think it should be flat is that if a single copper bar was worth 20 pixels, a platinum bar would cost 300,000 pixels while a diamond would cost 7.5 million pixels. With a flat rate of 5 bars per, these amounts would be 12,500 and 62,500 respectively, still a really large amount of money considering a lvl 30 threat planet only gives 10-200 pixels per monster with 20% lost on death.
You can change it to what ever you want, if you make your own mod using my stuff and release it just give credit where it is due. The recipy names were more for me and do not have to be the same as the item name. As an example i could make a torch recipe and have the recipe named "lolicanmmohdlikechamp.recipe" and it will be just fine. If you think money as an equivalent then feel free to base yours on that. I wanted my mod to make you work hard to get the higher bars by making ti hard to make them, this is not made to get the high bars quickly. And as for the pixel thing that was a quick way to get some pixels for merchants using that low lv copper bar you don't need to use anymore.
Great mod. Really appreciate it. I actually used it to learn a little and added in the option to buy copper so that I could convert my pixels into bars easily.
