    Can someone please explain to me what this mod does exactly? I mean i understand the part where the hardcoded limit of 140 weight limit was lifted but how can i give myself let's just say 10000 weight capacity for example? By the way, great job with this mod mate! Keep up the good work!

    Hello everyone.

    I hereby confirm that this does not work with GOG Version 1.2.1 (well 1.2.2 to be precise - which only removed unneeded UE Files and updated the FSR File).

    I tried:
    1: manually placing the CFG Files under "D:\Games\STALKER2\Stalker2\Content\GameLite\GameData"
    2: trying the 3 different Variants of this Mod by using a Mod Manager (Vortex) as well as placing the .pak Files manually in the ~mods Directory.
    3: Unpack the pak File "More Unpacked", renaming the pak File by removing the space between words, adding "zzz_*" etc.
    4: Used 7-Zip to create an Store only Zip Archive and changed the extension to .pak - which worked with older UE Version as well as Cryengine and a few others back in the Day.

    And yes, I started a fresh Save every single time as well as all different Difficulties.

    So far no luck. I also used "Stalker 2 Simple Mod Merger" to unpack the "pakchunk0-windows" and try a fresh "ObjEffectMaxParamsPrototypes.cfg" - also no luck.

    I am open for Ideas if someone(TM) has any. The "Faster Splash Screen" and "New Game Skip Intro" mods do work fine for example.

    P.S.: Now that I am thinking about it: Is it possible that I need to finish the Prologue first? But that would be weird IMO as the .cfg File has no dependent Variables ("Checks") that go in Effect at a later point - as far as I can tell. All Variables are called and updated immediately on game start.

      No, it 100% works in the latest version, which made zero changes to the file this mod touches. Both the uncapped weight and the uncapped elemental resistances work exactly the same as before. As for installation, it should be as simple as putting the pak file in the right folder and that's it. A new game is not required. The included cfg file is not part of installation, it is only included as a courtesy. What are you expecting this mod to do that it is failing to do?

      No Idea why it is not working on my end:
      1: No Protection (Resistances) from any kind of Damage
      2: Max Inventory weight is still 80

      Even with all other Mods removed, it does not want to work.

      EDIT01: Did another Game Files Verification etc. - still no luck. For now I am giving up. Maybe I will try again after the first DLC is out. Anyway, have a nice weekend everyone and enjoy your northern spring :)

      Sorry, that's not what this mod does. This mod does not increase your inventory weight, it allows you to increase your carry weight more than what the original game allows. It does not increase your resistance to damage, it allows you to increase your resistance more than what the original game allows.

    Doesn't it work in the game I'm currently playing?
    This does not apply to saved games.

    I couldn't get the CFG file to work. The PAK file works fine. I wanted to edit the physical protection to be better since most endgame enemies chew through exo+compass like it's wet paper. Any chance you might upload a PAK version with physical resistance upcapped? I tried creating my own but I don't think I'm getting it right.

      I'm not 100% certain about how the numbers work, but I believe Exo + one compass artifact is still well below the protection limit. I added a pak with uncapped physical protection (from a limit of 4.5 to 1000) to make sure.

      Hey just wanted to give a quick update. I've been testing and trying to make sense of things, and I've been forced to come to the surprising conclusion that at least in the current version of the game the physical protection artifacts do not seem to provide any benefit. I believe they do nothing, and trying to prove that they work by using bigger numbers (either by base value or %) seems to have no effect. Interestingly, using ridiculously huge numbers (like +99999 armor) causes you to take far more damage instead.

    When I start wearing a legendary artifact, that's when I get overloaded. Tested with weird water and a ball.
    Correction, when I change my suit, I'm back to carrying 83Kg max.

    Can you share version with just max weight limit removed? Everything else kept vanilla?

    This mod caused my max speed parameter to go 185 instead of 370.. that doesn't apply on a new game save smh
    Idk how or why one parameter change can cause something like that but for anyone searching.. the cause of the speed restriction is there
