  • About the future of this mod

    First of all a big thanks to anyone who played the mod, left a comment and even reached out to me with ideas and feedback! it's always wonderful to interact with you and makes the time spent modding all the more worth it.

    I'm writing this to let you know my plans and thoughts about Military Reforms.
    In general, I feel that the mod is in a really good position at the moment in terms of features and playability, and no further modifications are needed in that regard. This doesn't mean I won't try to fix issues if I find them, it just means there are no features or changes that I feel the need to implement (at least in the near future).

    I know that there are some rough edges here and there that could be polished (examples: the dark elf assassin portrait is still ...

  • Changelog from 1.0 to 2.8

    This is the Changelog, all the changes are listed and categorized by which version of the mod the change was implemented. Use this if you want to play a specific version of the mod.

    ====Changelog Version 2.8 - Military Reforms Update====

    General:
    - Unit descriptions have been rewritten from scratch
    - Ring requisites reworked (OoD and BoW campaigns only)
    - Rework of Magic equipment: Robes and Orbs have been boosted while magic shield selection has been reduced
    - Lemurian Eye renamed to "ring of swiftness" which is intended to help with backtracking and travelling
    - Removed building plans for siege and swarm building from OoD and BoW campaigns, since the way siege and swarm units are recruited has been reworked (details below)

    These are all of the changes that I made in the mod, in a complete list that does not take into account the different versions, consult this if it's the first time you're using the mod and want to know what the changes are in a quick way.

    General:
    - Decreased exp requirement to level up by 33% , to remove the need to grind with towers
    - Attribute requirements for levelling up skills removed (Attribute Freedom)
    - Added Building plans for sale in the campaigns, for resource buildings of all races (sawmill, smelting works etc.), they are sold by Colan Fell in Liannon and Snaedis in Tirganach (you will need to start a new campaign to see the changes).
