First of all a big thanks to anyone who played the mod, left a comment and even reached out to me with ideas and feedback! it's always wonderful to interact with you and makes the time spent modding all the more worth it.

I'm writing this to let you know my plans and thoughts about Military Reforms.
In general, I feel that the mod is in a really good position at the moment in terms of features and playability, and no further modifications are needed in that regard. This doesn't mean I won't try to fix issues if I find them, it just means there are no features or changes that I feel the need to implement (at least in the near future).

I know that there are some rough edges here and there that could be polished (examples: the dark elf assassin portrait is still the vanilla one, the hallit crossbow tower does not have any scaffoldings while being built) and there's a reason why I never bothered to fix those: I want to keep the number of files needed for installation the minimum possible, this has been my focus since the first version, it's only changed in the 2.8 version (where I added a modified .lua file, changing the number of mod files from 1 to 2). Military Reforms may not be the most ambitious or innovative mod out there, but it's always been easy to install and manage, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

That said, there are actual issues that I failed to address and fix so far, mainly due to lack of time and skill. The most glaring one is the lack of difficulty in the base campaign (the Order of Dawn): between the easier level ups, the removal of attribute requirement for skills and the various boosts to rune warriors and regular troops, the base campaign difficulty has almost been trivialized. That is something I wish to fix eventually, by reworking the base campaign enemies, If I will resume development of the mod, that will be my first priority. As of today I lack the skills needed to fix that, so I'm sorry to say that this won't happen in the near future.

I wanted to make a "casual friendly" mod for an old game that I love, and even though there's a lot of room for improvement I feel happy with the results of my efforts, and I hope everyone had a good time playing it.

TL:DR = ty for playing the mod, no more feature planned in the future but I may increase the difficulty of base campaign if I learn how to modify maps.
