About this mod
This mod changes the main menu background, menu song and splashscreen from the Platinum Edition (aka Shadow of the Pheonix) of the game to the one from the base game or the first addon (Breath of Winter). Two additonal options are included aswell.

This mod changes the main menu background, menu song and splashscreen from the Platinum Edition (aka Shadow of the Pheonix) of the game to the one from the base game or the first addon (The Breath of Winter). They were also not just replaced, but modified for the added menu points (Base game only has 5 menu points, SotP has 8). I sadly do not know who created this mod originally as the official spellforce forums this mod was hosted on were lost. However I still had it sitting on my harddrive and wanted to reupload it so others can use it.
Only thing I did was repackage them differently to allow for easier installation and upload them here, all the main work was done by the original mod author!

Either way, thank you, because I use this mod everytime I reinstall the game to get the sweet Breath of Winter menu back ;)
This mod comes with 4 different options:
1. The Order of Dawn Menu Background + Song + Splashscreen
2. The Breath of Winter Menu Background + Song + Splashscreen
3. The Order of Dawn Loadscreen as Menu Background
4. The Breath of Winter Loadscreen as Menu Background
Screenshots for all of these are also provided in the images section.
The first two options are based on the originals, the last two options were added for people who might be interested in those.
A small addition regarding the Order of Dawn Menu music. In the base game the menu actually had two main menu themes. The main theme and another called runewarrior, which is the second half of the main theme. In the platinum edition this isn't the case anymore and only one menu theme can be used. In case you want to use the runewarrior theme instead of the main theme, it is named army_of_darkness(runewarrior).mp3 and included in the download next to the main theme. Just rename or delete the original theme and change the name of the runewarrior track to army_of_darkness.mp3.
Installation
Just unzip the files you want to use into your main folder where the SpellForce.exe is located.
Once you are done you should have two new folders in there called texture and sound which contain the new files.
Thats it, just hit up the game and try them out :)
If you ever want to change them you can just unzip one of the other folders and overwrite any files.
If you want to revert the changes, just remove the texture and sound folder in your game directory!
Known Bugs
There are no known bugs with this mod.
