Hey there, sorry for the late answer. Depending on what plateform you play with you have several ways.
If you use steam I suggest you to check the collections in the workshop and subscribe to it. It will install auto.
If you use Gog you can use the website mod.io. Searching for solasta and you'll find the campaign to install (it's auto too.)
If you wish to use nexus you have to download the zip file. Then unzip it (with a software like powerarchiver or winzip or winrar..)
      - When unzipping the software will ask "where ?"
      - so you chose c:/user/yourname/appdata/localLow/Tactical Adventure/usercontent/locations/here is where you unzip the files.
Once it's done (no matter the way you used) you go to you game and start a new adventure / select custom campaign and pick up the map Solasta quest 00 and your party and that's it :) I suggest you to keep a save once you have played the campaign as "addons" will come and your save will avoid you to re-do all from the start :)
Wish that may help you and that you'll enjoy the adventure ! :)

Loving the mod so far but I've run into trouble in Quest 8. Four doors lead from the main room. There's a crate in front of one of the doors that seems to block passage. The other three doors lead to single rooms with no other exits so I assume you need to get through this fourth door to progress. However, I can't mover the crate, climb over it, fly over it, or teleport past it. Am I missing something?

I like the idea of the mod. But I think the dungeons are annoyingly cramped. Half the time when you interact with things like lootchests, one or two members of the party try to go into the next room because the current room is too small for the formation. And I don't know how often I have closed the door or something similarly stupid instead of attacking the enemy because of all the close quarters action. Also the small rooms make placing area effects extremely difficult; and I'm not even talking about fireballs or ice storms yet.

On another note, suggesting the werewolf level with the hordes of orc bersercers for level 2 seems inappropriate. Especially since there is no long rest place to recover spells and hit points.

Hey there, thanks for your time and feedback.

      - The Werewolf chapter is up to level 3+ for the next update.

      - I agree that this is a bit cramped and might lead to some sort of bad positionning if not carefull. I would suggest to "choose only one character" and click with it on the "search object". I understand that if you want to play "fast" it might be not as enjoyable but it does a lot for the mood of the mod (slow, room by room, one by one..) So note that the corridors are already double sized to make players life and camera easier but after beeing tested with "bigger rooms" it won't be the same feeling at all sadly (not bad feeling but not heroquest/like at all.)

      - However it's noted, if during further playtests I cross some checks that forces the party to move in an other room, i'll try to re-place it. Though this module is big now and it becomes difficult to find time re-cross all quests, so it might not happen that soon. Thanks for your understanding :)

Say do you happen to have the implied Heroes of the HeroQuest - character inserts ? ea. The Barbarian, the Elf, the Dwarf, and the Mage.
There's no need for them to be one to one ... but I would rather see them as a gentle suggestion of the general level of Stats etc as you see them in this game, compared to what they were in the original. And not to mention, you would today bring a cleric, but those were different times. Hehe.

Hey JarnoMikkola ! Thank you for your feedback and for playing this Adventure !
I'm not sure to understand what you mean about heroes races & characteristics ?
It's ok for suggestions though no worries :)

The First Expansion for Solastaquest is Up : The Dark Company !! (EN & FR)
It's the Quest 16 at the Hub. Our Heroes will visit the subterranean quarters of the Dark Company...

The Original Expansion proposed several "quests" in the same map in order to complete one goal. I unified all map section in only one bigger. As in the original game, we won't be able to come back for shopping, however i put some campfire to rest (as it would be allowed in the boardgame.)
You can keep your save if you did the previous quests. Just update (copy/past) the new maps, your save will be fine. However in order to avoid any trouble, make sur to reach the living room before doing this, the hub has changed a little to add the new entrance.

For this expansion i added more furnitures than the boardgame original maps. Tell me if this is something that you prefere or not compared to the 15th firsts quests. I'm actually thinking of fulfilling them with more but not sure yet. Tell me how you feel i'll concidere this.

finally, this 16th Quest will take around 5h to play if you want to clean everything. Reaching the level 9 or 10 in the end (depending on the cleaning from the start.) I won't recommand to play this quest with fresh characters but if you do use at least lvl 8. Magical Objects may be a thing for fresh characters though.

Wish you'll enjoy and have fun ! Cya soon ++

The First Expension for Solastaquest is actually under debug and translation. It will come very soon. Note that this first expansion (and maybe the other) won't necessary follow the order of what it was with the board game. This is due to 2 things : 1 The toolset. As it's still pretty basic for now, I would like to wait for more feature availables in order to see what will match the best with what we're allowed to do. 2 I try to add a full connection between base game and expansion, so depending on what we're available to do and what an expansion contains, i try to re-write the story a little to still have a link between quests... So The next quest will be "a big one" - a quest of around 4-6h. It's originally one quest that was divided into several quests due to boardgame restriction. With Solasta toolset I'm able to re-create the full map used in only one quest. Maybe you already know which one it is ? :p I'll let you guess a little but answer will pop here soon. Thank you for playing SolastaQuest ! :) Wish you'll enjoy.
