Simply renames Gold to Copper/Septim/Mede/etc. through the power of Item Property Manager. No plugin required and easily changeable.

Simply Rename Gold
Overview
Renames the item called "Gold" in vanilla, the basic currency of Skyrim, into whatever you want using Item Property Manipulator (IPM). The name of the item will be changed from the string defined in your ESP plugins to the string defined in the IPM config.
This is a very simple mod as an example of how to use IPM that I thought some people might get some use out of.
Note that this ONLY changes the name of the item, not any references to it anywhere else in the game such as in the UI or in dialogue conversation.

Force renames it back to "Gold" if for example something changed it to "Septim" (like WACCF) and you prefer "Gold".

You can also easily change it to whatever you like by opening RenameGoldToGold_IPM.ini and changing `Name = Gold` to `Name = Ooh Shiny`.
Installation
- Install Item Property Manipulator and its requirements.
- Install your choice of Simply Rename Gold main file.
- (Optional) Change the string if you want.
Recommended Mods
- Aura's Inventory Tweaks - Has an option to change the "Gold" in the UI to "Copper", "Mede", or "Septim" by changing the Skyrim English translation file. You can also change the icon color to copper or silver by selecting an option in OCF's FOMOD and using this mod.
- A texture mod to match your coins' new name.
