Hi, just a note for anyone using Immersive Equipment Displays and this mod at the same time.
IED will over-ride this mod, and the weapon node in Racemenu. It is better if you set up the scale fix in IED's Gear positioning system. You can do this by going to View>Gear Nodes. Select player - female - positions, then search for 'weapon' under filter. Then all you need to do is set the scale to about 1.17 for both right and left hand weapons (number taken from Female Equipment Scale Fix). You will have to do the same thing for female NPCs.
Sorry if this is already quite obvious to anyone. This was a perplexing issue for me, and I figured others might also be having the same issue.

Thats right, since its only targeting the right and left hand weapon nodes. Though the first time you set it up, you might notice your weapons jitter in size at times (especially with bows). Rebooting Skyrim tends to clean most of that jitter up.

I think some animators try to compensate for the vanilla scaling issues with bows. When that is scaled back up, the animations end up looking weird with the arrow being too far back in the hand.
Are there any archery animation mods you recommend that work well with this mod?
Muskeleton editor still had issues, also slightly heavy on SKSE since it scan Npcs There is another fix (only works on player) but had no issue.
~ On Racemenu, "Body Scale" Tab. Increase "Weapon Scale" and "Shield Scale" to 1.2 Some people found 1.17-1.2 works. just try what fit In my test, this fix every Drawn sword, shield, also bow and two handed weapons. Good alternative if you don't care about NPC scaling
Also, i recommend installing "Minimal" version of XPMSE or "Extended" version without Weapon style and MCM enabled (just racemenu). it removes MCM, Script, and Animation that is kinda outdated and might conflict with modern animation mods, you just need the skeleton and maybe the racemenu morph.
For whatever reason I just can't get my bow scale when drawn to respond to anything. Both the xpmse setting in racemenu and this mod are unable to affect it. Other weapons work fine.
Also after uninstalling this I was crashing before even getting to the main menu, I had to also uninstall MuSkeletonEditor to fix that. I can't figure out why that would be the case I don't see anywhere this mod is getting baked into Mu files, causing it to crash if not there.
I can see this mod works when the item is in the character hands but when I sheath my shield at back the shield returns to a smaller size. Am I missing something?
Hello, i am having a small issue with the weapon scaling. When i unsheathe a weapon, for example a two handed axe, the weapon is now bigger when holding it and goes back to normal size when not wielding it. I havent changed any scales in racemenu except for my characters height (1.03).
Same, only when out. I was thinking maybe some sort of internal conflict? Maybe with weapon altering mods like:? LeanWolf's Better-Shaped Weapons IPM - Insane Armory (Weapon Sizes) Believable weapons
Yeah, sounds like you guys have mods which are doing the opposite of what this mod does (downscaling the sheathed weapons to match the drawn ones), so they conflict. You can try reducing the scale in the json file as explained in the description for a better match.

EDIT: Well, if you install XPM+Racemenu in FOMOD, install DSR and this, you use Racemenu to set SHEATHED scale and this mod's JSON for to set DRAWN scale. It's ridiculous, having to set both individually but,,, *shrug* Advisory: In RaceMenu there, is a general "weapon back scale". which I believe this entirely overwrites.
Not a fan of Immersive Equipment Displays, so hard pass. I just hate the rescaling on the back slots. Oh well. I don't want 15 bajilion things on my back.
