    Not compatible with Skyrim-Upscaler-ENB-Test-Build by PureDark.
    Sorry for the trouble but Skyrim-Upscaler-ENB-Test-Build by PureDark isn't the same as  Skyrim Upscaler - DLSS FSR2 XeSS by PureDark 
    So Skyrim Upscaler - DLSS FSR2 XeSS by PureDark  can be used with this mod?
    I know about the discussion with busybobo and SkyHorizon3 states "Just the specific test build." but I just want to make sure I understand correctly

    Hey how's it going. Using the effect toggler rn on version 1.6.1130 from following the mod list linked below. Second time running through this, as I fucked something up the first time, but I'm getting an error that the plugin failed to load correctly and that there was a fatal error when loading the plugin "ReShadeEffectToggler.dll". Any idea what could cause this to happen? I didn't face this problem during my first iteration of downloading the mod; did some update happen in the past 2 days? Just looking for assistance, thanks a lot.

      Hey there, sorry for the more or less late reply been fairly busy lately...
      Anyway, the Toggler itself did not receive an update in the past few days. Did you ensure that you installed Reshade with full-addon support?
      Could you maybe also show the log generated at Documents/MyGames/Skyrim Special Edition/SKSE

    Before I just yolo and try it out and potentially screw something up, I"ll ask first: the description page says it's not compatible with Skyrim-Upscaler-ENB-Test-Build by PureDark. Does that mean it's not compatible with any upscaler by PureDark, or just that specific test build?

      Just the specific test build. I don't know about other paid mods from PureDark. But @Jenneras said it's compatible with FSR3 Built 03 from PureDark's discord.

    This doesn't work for me, i'm trying to make it remove some effect like colourfulness and chromaticity in interiors but it doesn't work

      Hi, could you maybe give us some more information about the issue? Maybe attach your Preset as well :)
      We just tested it again after reading your comment and it works on our side

      I just read that it was incompatible with puredark's upscaler and retried without the upscaler and yeah that was the issue my bad, do you have any plan on making them compatible or are they just inherently incompatible?

      Oh yeah, it sadly is incompatible with the Upscaler. It is highly unlikely that we will ever make it compatible. If someone was to do that, it would have to be PureDark himself. It is pretty difficult for us to do anything about it sadly :(

      I see, that's too bad, this mod is really amazing! I'll just wait and hope puredark decides to patch it someday I guess, thanks!

      I use puredark´s upscaler with fsr3 from his discord and it works for me very well (tested it for about 2h untin now).
      I Toggle interiors and the menues ;)

      Thank you for this amazing mod, its perfect to use with community shaders!

      Hey @Jenneras, thanks for sharing! Could you maybe tell us which version of the upscaler you are using? I'd update the description to include that :D

    See what a great thing I'm missing out on, before I had to compromise a lot of screen settings for the UI to be affected by reshade, thanks! (from translation)

    Hi, I would like to ask if it would not be possible to add option to toggle the shader with papyrus, or with some other skyrim related way. I would love to be able to toggle the effect on runtime based on different conditions. So it is for example possible to make screen color change based on current health etc...

      Hey there, yes it would be possible, however it would take quite a bit of time and effort to pull off. As of now our time is fairly limited as we're working on some other projects, which are also very time consuming. We might return to this one day when we got the time. We'll keep your idea in mind should we return to this :D

    Confirmed working in VR.  I haven't tested extensively although default settings were definitely turning Reshade off on the world map.

      Is there any special action to enable this in VR?
      I have Glamur and Glam Up installed. Both are working fine. But in the Reshade Add-On tab there is nothing listed.

      There shouldn't be any special action needed to get it to work for VR, although I can't confirm it for VR it should still just be Plug & Play...
      Maybe check if you have Reshade Version 5.9 or newer installed? That's the only thing I can think of right now

      I installed ReShade 6.0.0 with add-ons (and later also 6.0.1).
      Used OpenXR as install option for Reshade pointing to SkyrimVR and I am running VD with OpenXR.
      I can also see get the reshade menu to open up, but would not find the Reshade toggler.
      I did the same for my Skyrim SE instance and Reshade toggler turned up there directly.

      @jepster Thanks for the information. The previously posted log shows that the plugin loads correctly, but ReShade isn't found. Could you try installing ReShade just for testing purpose without OpenXR? If ReShade Toggler is working afterwards I'll try updating ReShade API...

      Yes, I will try this out and share the results. And here they are
      I switched from OpenXR to SteamVR and used a reshade-vrtoolkit designed for DirectX. And finally got Reshade toggler in VR :-)
      Guess I can just stay with SteamVR

    I encountered a bug.

    What happens:
    -  Have an effect that I only wanted to be enabled in the interiors.
    - I set this effect to be disabled when
    -- Outside
    -- Map is open
    - When I am outside and open a dialog or the equipment menu
    -> That effect enables
    -> After 3 seconds it gets disabled as it should

      Hi, could you try turning down the InteriorUpdateInterval to 0?
      The Loading Menu, Dialog Menu and Equipment Menu count separately. Since you want it to be disabled in the MapMenu, it will enable it for every other Menu. After 3 Seconds the Interior system checks if you are in an interior or an exterior cell and adjusts the reshade state accordingly :)

      It is a bit weird and we will probably have to revisit the way the effects get toggled in a possible future update :D
      For now, turn down the UpdateInterval or give it all the other menus you might encounter :)

    This is another suggestion. Is it possible to toggle effects when certain imagespaces are active? Or have a combination of setting work together, like toggling effects at both a certain time and weather. Also, would it be possible to save your current setting to the selected preset instead of a new one every time, or maybe that's already how it is?

      Hi there, it is somewhat possible to save to the selected preset. You just need to give it the same name and it will overwrite the preset if it already exists.
      If with a combination of settings working together you mean something like: an effect gets toggled only if it's between 11am and 2pm AND the weather is sunny, then it might take quite a while until we have that implemented in a possible future update (During Development the time and weather system gave us a lot of headache :D)

    Is it possible to add a feature to toggle reshade presets and not just effects? I'd like to have different configurations for each effect depending on time of day and interior/exterior state.

      It might be possible, I'll note this suggestion down somewhere.
      If we get enough ideas and suggestions, we are probably going to come back to this and update it again :)
