About this mod

Adapts NordwarUA's Vanilla Armor Replacer to utilize SPID and my SPID configs for a conflict-free experience.

Per request, I have adapted NordwarUA's Vanilla Armor Replacer to work with SPID.

RMB SPIDified - NordwarUA Vanilla Armor Replacer takes advantage of the keywords introduced in my resource, RMB SPIDified Core. It introduces the various armors in the form of outfits, replacing vanilla equivalent outfits.

Due to how my keyword framework is constructed, it natively supports Requiem and Lawless.

Why should you use this patch?

SPID can be mod agnostic. It avoids a need for specific patches - SPID is a fantastic resource that can be used to apply keywords and outfits after mods have done all of their magic, meaning SPID mods should consistently have the desired effect regardless of what other content you use!

It can be used alongside my SPID patch for Realistic Armor, for maximum armour variety.

As always, if you have any suggestions or run into any issues, please let me know.

Scriptless implementation
ESL Light Plugin (doesn't use a slot), to define the outfits
Includes a modified .esp from the original mod, with all vanilla edits removed for compatibility
Doesn't overwrite the vanilla Imperial items, in case you still want them around
All armors and weapons included in NordwarUA's VAR are now standalone
Depending on install option picked, VAR armours can occur alongside vanilla armours or completely replace
Natively compatible with overhauls such as Requiem (extensive support) and Lawless
Compatible with Bodyslide patches, as mesh paths are preserved
Introduces (61) new outfits, used in outfit distribution
Replaces similar vanilla outfits with Vanilla Armor Replacer outfits
FOMOD Option to add recipes for all of the items - you can also choose to restrict the recipes if you're not an Imperial Soldier
Constructible Object Custom Keyword System support if you grab the patch from here.
Other FOMOD options (always wear helmets, chance of distribution)
Generic Distribution is handled within rmb_1_nordwarua_var_DISTR.ini
Bandit Distribution is handled within rmb_1_nordwarua_var_bandits_DISTR.ini
Named NPC Distribution is handled within rmb_1_nordwarua_var_named_DISTR.ini
Vanilla Outfit Distribution is handled within rmb_1_nordwarua_var_outfit_DISTR.ini

Balance notes
Each armour is (re) balanced loosely around the following materials:

Vanilla Armour Replacer Hide >> Rebalanced to be a Leather Replacement
Vanilla Armour Replacer Studded Hide >> Rebalanced to be a Studded Leather
Vanilla Armour Replacer Leather >> Rebalanced to be "Leather with Ringmail", a set midway between Leather and Studded Leather
Vanilla Armour Replacer Wolf Armour (regular) >> Rebalanced to be on par with Steel Armour (instead of worse)
Vanilla Armour Replacer Wolf Armour (Improved) >> Rebalanced to be on par with Steel Plate Armour (instead of much worse)
Vanilla Armour Replacer "Nordic Armour" >> Model is very similar to vanilla Steel Plate, rebalanced to be a Steel Plate variation

I like that character x/y/z has this or that outfit, but I don't want other characters to get the outfits. How do I change this?
-- You can find the relevant entries inside rmb_1_nordwarua_var_DISTR.ini. Each entry can be tweaked or removed as desired!

How can I restrict these outfits to specific genders?
-- rmb_1_nordwarua_var_DISTR.ini has the relevant entries. You'll see each outfit, and will want to change one of the values. See below:
-- Outfit = OUTFITID|isFactionBandit+ActorWeaponTypeOneHanded|NONE|NONE|NONE|1|2
-- The highlighted NONE above can be changed to M or F to restrict to Male or Female respectively.
